Robert Pickering Needs to Learn Some Manners

Regarding Marty's full name, I am considering doing the following:

1) Doing a full database replace of his last name in posts prior to this thread, to where his last name is permanently censored. Right now, the software changes his last name to Curacao on the fly, but the actual last name remains in the database. This is how vBulletin works -- it wasn't my choice to do it this way. Anyway, this will solve the problem of Marty's name being associated with trolling in the past.

2) Remove the filter on Marty's last name, and allowing it to be posted in this thread.

3) Evaluating future threads whether Marty's last name should be posted, and manually censoring it if it's just being done to screw with him. So if people are just gratuitously throwing in his last name while trolling him, I will remove it. If they post his full name in a thread like this one, I'll let it stand.


I do have to admit that I see it to be unfair that Robert Pickering's name can be posted here, yet Marty's can't.

So fix it. Delete his name from every post. I lost a lot of respect for you Druff. Considering what you have done to Marty in the past....when there was NO money involved. Remember you busting out of the WSOP and immediately driving to the ghetto of Vegas to film where Marty lived and playing the "Cops" theme song the whole time? You don't know the whole story. What you do know is Robert Pickering never wanted to be involved here. Marty forced him here. Marty did what he always does....You should know that by now Druff.

Honestly, I see fault on both sides here.

I think Pickering definitely had the right to cancel (and charge back) the money for the jobs not yet started when he wanted the whole thing to be over, and then he also may have been justified to charge back the first job if he thought Marty didn't deliver a quality product.

However, threatening to go to Mexican immigration on him is a dick move. Just charge it back and be done with it.

At the same time, I think Marty acted inappropriately and unprofessionally in some respects.

I allowed this thread to be created because of the threats about Mexican immigration and the other stuff. If it were just a business dispute, I wouldn't have let Marty do this.

However, I am all for fairness, and I don't think it's fair that one person's name should be fair game and the other person's isn't.
