Is the juice still running on that $2000 loan to his ex-girlfriend?
Is the juice still running on that $2000 loan to his ex-girlfriend?
in february, they were at 55 mechanic st, a crappy-ish 3 family house about 20 minutes from where the girlfriend worked. I see no reason why that should be a secret anymore.
shithead pulled his facebook account.
Well, I've been passing that link around to people privately, on here, and on twitter for about a week and the account didn't move. Drexel mentioned it on radio last night, and I'd bet at least a few people sent him messages or whatever. It was obv only a matter of time, but fuck that kid for thinking he can keep any sort of a clean public profile. Fuck you, John Sepulveda Jr.
We should do a fuckin druff/mwh flyer drop on his immediate area, and let all his neighbors and his girl's neighbors just what a nice dude Sep really is, and how he treats money donated to children's charities, and how he fucks his business associates, be it in poker or mma.
Great to hear drexel last night, shitty to hear what he said, though we all kinda knew the deal by now, I think. The 22Q stuff is bothersome. This story isnt over by a long shot.
He will show up again someplace online especially if he starts running up another scam which he could already be doing under a different name for all we know. At least his personal paypal account got closed from this I believe but it's not like they are the only e-wallet.
This defintely isn't over it's just on an extended hiatus. I hope some how justice gets done and if it's not for this particular case then hopefully Mr. Sepulveda pays for his ways on his next scam attempt.
I agree.
There are 3 possible reasons why no one from the 22Q Board would publicly sign their name to a statement regarding donations received.
1- They positively want no association whatsoever with a group of filthy degenerate scamming poker players, led by Juan, obv.
2- Their charity is semi-shady or corrupt or failing to meet the financial/ tax regulations of their registration and they fear being exposed.
3- Someone on the Board has skeletons, and they want no publicity or spot light of any kind.
100% agree and as twisted as it is they received more money from various people in poker who donated because they felt bad about this situation with Juan so to them they didn't come out empty handed.
They don't want the publicity which is sad because it's like they have no problem receiving donations from nice people of the community and the people that worked hard on the marathon podcast but then when those people that helped them get screwed they aren't willing to cooperate one bit. I'm not sure how to put it best but it's like "you scratch our backs but we won't scratch yours" or in other words "Thanks for helping us but don't expect us to return any favors even though they cost nothing we just refuse to help".
I'm sorry but it's like 22q is spitting in everyone's face biting the hand that fed their charity when all Brandon asked was for them to give at least give some sort of statement.
By not saying anything at all is worse and I lose respect not for what their charity is about since it's a good cause but for the people at the top who run it.
They are almost certainly hiding something. I doubt they were in on the scam but I also doubt the charity payouts extend much beyond expenses for the board members and support for their own kids. We should focus some attention on the charity and their board members to see what can be uncovered. Fuck them for not helping Brandon after all he put into their 'cause'
STFU
Nobody is going after this fucking asshole because there is nothing to after. HE TOOK YOUR MONEY/ Just get the fuck over it. The only reason people are pissed is not because of some charity they thought it was going to, it's because they thought they would look important.
There has been 10 years of threads of examples of NOT to ever give money to strangers online.
There was a two year Justin Smith thread for your example. Sorry you took the bait.
Here is a a real good question that I have and maybe JoeU can address this. Why does the 22Q Foundation still list the Ironman Podcast as an official event? It should have never been listed as an official event in the first place. Doesn't anybody there have the logic to take that off their website?
July is almost here!
Don't worry all Juan will pay out the monthly distributions on time like he's been doing a top notch job of so far.
What happened to Mad Dad?
Martin Curacao 95.5 KWNR Radio Host "We see 192 000 miles for your car. How did you put on that many miles since 2005?"
2005 Chevy Impala owner "Drove it"
Wrong.
Just because things aren't broadcast publicly on a forum, doesn't mean they aren't happening. Some guys don't need to have their revenge made public to get satisfaction. The internet is no different than real life in the fact that you can get away with scamming 1 person or 1000 people, but eventually, you'll scam the wrong person. Trust me when I say that Juan scammed the wrong person.
