Pacquiao has very little say over his career. He's Bob Arum's boy. Guy literally makes no decision whatsoever. I don't think it's a Mayweather/Pacquiao thing. I never have. I 100% believe that it's a Mayweather/Arum thing. And I believe that Arum knows what the outcome would be, and that's why he doesn't want his boy in with Mayweather. When Mayweather was a Top Rank fighter, Arum would routinely say "I've been around them all, Floyd's the best I've ever seen". It wasn't until Floyd left Arum, that he started "ducking" Top Rank fighters. Arum has been robbing Pacquiao blind for some time now. I mean, 6 fight, $75 million contract? For the 2nd biggest name in boxing? That's absurd. Pacquiao brings in a LOT more than that.

Maidana isn't an 11/1 dog. Mayweather is 11/1 favorite. Maidana is 7/1. And he's only 7/1 against Mayweather. He'd be 4-1 against Pacquiao. It's not that Maidana is so bad, it's that Mayweather is so good. I mean, Canelo is a very high risk fight for ANYONE in boxing right now. He's considered a "cherry pick" for Mayweather. He's held to a pretty high standard (admittedly, he brings it on himself with all this "TBE" shit).

As unlikely as it is, it wouldn't break my heart to see Maidana knock him out. I like Maidana a lot. And I've always wanted to see how Mayweather would act in defeat. I think he would be surprisingly humble.

I hope you're not serious. Its clear you dont like Arum but noboddy tells MP anything. If he wants to fight someone they will do what he says and make it happen.

Second part isnt true either. The great thing about MP is hes a huge draw win or lose. Hes not undefeated like MM. The only one concerned about losing is MM. If MM really cared about TBE he would demand a fight with MP, but he only cares about making money and whos to blame him.

Pacquiao has fought tougher fighters than Mayweather has.

The reason Arum doesn't want Pacquiao to fight Mayweather is not because he believes that Mayweather is the better boxer. It's because Mayweather has cost Arum money and has tried to steal away some of his boxers.

Arum hates Mayweather's guts.

But honestly it's too late to make Mayweather versus Pacquiao, the fight should've been made back in 2010 or 2011.

If Arum can't deal with MGM to host his fights, he will lose tens of millions of dollars.
Arum decided to fuck off MGM officials, because he saw billboards promoting Mayweather vs Maidana at the last Pacquiao fight at the MGM Grand.

Good riddance to Bob Arum, he has fucked over more boxers than Don King.
