OK. Pardon my rambling, I may jump around here a bit, as I'm not sure what I want to say exactly, but I'll figure it out as I go along.
So first, I did a search of my own posts just to see how much I've used the word scam, scammer, or scammed in relation to Garrett. I came up with 38 occurrences of those 3 words in my posts, of which 3 posts referred to garrett in some way. One of them is above, from this morning's IMs. One of them is a post where I didn't even say the word "scam", but Tyde did, and I quoted him in my answer. The only real occurrence, of the 38 times I've used one of those three words on this forum, is the following post, which is the one that I assume caused this morning's IMs from garrett.

The first this forum ever knew of garrett was during a freeroll, when he used his usual poker handle bizzerk, and he regged here right after under the garrett name. A quick google of the bizzerk name, at the time, showed that big G tried to use a staking forum once or twice, didn't follow the terms, and was banned from a few staking forums because of it. Is "scam" too harsh a word for what he did? IDK, maybe, so how about I say he fucked them over? That's certainly true, no matter what the intent was. The main point is that this is a thing you actually did, was easily found on another poker forum, and I referred to it. I didn't say you would do it now or in the future, but you fucked up stakes in the past, and in a place like this (a poker forum centered around scams and the like), that shit is important, and gets noticed. (Bubbles was the first to find all this, I believe, as this thread shows.)
Garrett, I heartily apologize for saying you scammed a poker forum. From now on, I will be sure to say that you fucked them over, or "refused to ply the stake by the rules agreed to," instead of calling it a scam. I cannot get inside your head (thank God) and judge your intent, so I won't. Was it for a lot of money? No. Does the amount matter in the least? No.

it should be noted that garrett still can't figure out how this staking site got his email addy that he claimed he never used it anywhere before here, even tho its fairly obvious to anyone with a brain that he obv used the same email at quadjacks, and that's where the staking site got it.
as far as "integrity is everything in the poker world," I think a huge portion of the scumbags who succeed in the poker world prove that to be untrue over and over and over again.
There's a reason I keep pointing everyone back to this thread when they have questions about garrett and his deal. Seeing the world clearly is not a garrett strong point.
