the 2 last weeks for me have been pretty epic
Won almost $37,000 .
The money is great. But the best part of all of is has been silencing all my critics who have worked so diligently to discredit me over the last decade +
I love poker because it's all about competition, not 'gambling'
poker is a true sport...
because there are so many elements involved when it comes to success
understanding leverage, a good grasp for math...knowing when to seize opportunities and semi bluff in the right spots, bankroll management etc etc etc
winning big field poker tournaments is all about (slow and steady) chip accumulation.....
paying attention to your opponents stack sizes,.,,,,,,always refreshing where you stand in the remaining field.
your decisions should be predicated on average stack, and your position based on what hands you will make out of position calls with
it really all comes down to leverage and power poker based on the notion that you pound shorter stacks with weaker hands in position looking to accumulate chips steadily with little risk
remember that 7/2os vs A/K is only a 2/1 dog pre flop
stick it all in with big draws in huge spots
if you miss....
move on to the next tourney
