I might be wrong about largest uniformed army, I heard that on CNN the other day and never really looked into it. After doing a little research it looks like they are 4th. They are the most militarized country in the world though. Mandatory military service for every citizen is 10 years.

Lol @ anyone caring about NK. The kid has to put on a show at least. Can't be made to look like a complete fool so soon after taking power. Also lol @ anyone who thinks that NK could even lift a finger before they were pounded into the ground. The kid lives like a fucking king, he's not gonna risk fucking that up for the same reason his dad never did. He knows they stand ZERO chance of winning ANY war. The fact that this shit is even reported is what is ridiculous. Every time these slant eyed primates start wagging their little 3 inch peckers around, the US media goes apeshit. When Russia or China decide to go to war, lemme know. NK is a fucking joke.
Really think you're missing the point that NK can flatten Seoul in a matter of minutes. Sure they would get their asses kicked in a full blown war. But even that would take a couple of weeks due to the difficulty of putting boots on the ground to mop up what the airforce can't kill. Anyhow, back to Seoul. No one can fuck with NK because it means the end of Seoul. Now when they figure out how to make nukes small enough to put on missiles that are actually capable of reaching the US (and they will sooner than later), the new dynamic will be NK invading SK and making the USA decide whether it's worth sacrificing San Diego to save South Korea. Pretty much our only hope at this point is to offer to trade Michael Jordan in exchange for NK abandoning its nuke program.

If you don't think the US already has plans in place to keep that from happening, you drastically underestimate our abilities and foresight. You also drastically underestimate South Korea's ability to defend itself. When/If NK is ever a real threat, we will deal with them. They aren't, so we don't.
I think there may well be a hard line element in China's military that has leaked enough tech to DPRK to make a hot war far less one sided than we want to believe.
That said we had similar misgivings about Iraq (invasion, not retention)...
That said, after all the shitty crusades we've been on, Id fucking savor some drone footage of mouthy gooks getting their wigs split by some of God's America Brand DU shells from low orbit.

It would be over before they even knew it started. Foreigners only see what creeps out. People see a bunch of soldiers marching in a line with guns and that intimidates a lot of people. But if you were to see how North Korea really is, you would see half their people starving and without electricity or running water. With all the sanctions placed on them they are an incredibly weak country, despite the strong demeanor they laughably try to portray.
Lol @ "nothing to lose". The guy stands to lose everything he inherited that took his father decades to build. He stand to lose his entire way of life. With no possibility of winning. The dipshit would rather watch Basketball with Dennis Rodman than start a war he knows he can't win. Drinking tonight?
