Hes a scumbag for what he did at USC, but looking past that the way he handled the fail mary really showed that screwing the USC program and leaving before he paid the price was his true personality. He runs up the score on teams but then complains when it happens to him. Not to mention jumping around like a little school girl all the time. I remember when Larry Bird was coaching and his team hit a game winning 3, and everyone went nuts, but not Bird he didnt even flinch, because hes a winner. I just dislike everything about the guy.

Is that it?? You act like he stole your girlfriend or something.

Let's look at it point by point:

He's a scumbag for what he did at USC - What exactly was that and what should he have done differently?? He brought incomparable success to the program and was responsible for some of the best teams in college football history. He didn't exactly leave the program in ruins as they have been quite successful over the last three years in spite of being on sanctions. Lots of programs have had shenanigans including our own Washington Huskies under Don James. That doesn't mean we hate the Dawgfather up here.

The way he handled the fail mary - LOL wat? Carroll was unapologetic about the call and reacted no differently than any of the other 31 coaches in the league. The reason you have a problem with it is because you have a problem with Carroll.

Leaving before he paid the price was his true personality - So he should have turned down the $36 million the Seahawks offered him? Can you think of anyone who would? Ludicrous.

He runs up the score on teams but then complains when it happens to him - The Seahawks didn't run up the score on Arizona or Buffalo. There were a a couple of debatable calls but I wouldn't call it running up the score. Did he do it at USC? Maybe, I've heard some things but frankly I'm a Washington fan and I don't like USC and didn't like Carroll when he was there. He never complained about getting the score run up on him, ever. In fact he has said quite the opposite whenever asked about it. If you are basing that on the "What's your deal, you alright?" question he asked Harbaugh after Stanford's upset of USC then so be it but I wouldn't consider that complaining.

Not to mention jumping around like a little school girl all the time - Fair enough. If you don't like him because he rubs you the wrong way and you dislike his sideline antics, that I understand. I like it but that's because I'm a Seahawk fan.

I remember when Larry Bird was coaching and his team hit a game winning 3, and everyone went nuts, but not Bird he didnt even flinch, because hes a winner. - Hey I like Bird too but I don't want him coaching my football team.

I just dislike everything about the guy - You certainly do.

Even though I disagree with your points, I asked the question and appreciate the response Shady.

Of course Im bitter about the fail mary, but the way he handled it was a big thing here in WI. No one said he needed to be apoligetic just dont flat out lie and say it was definitely a catch and the league reviewed and they said it was a catch. Thats just not true it wasnt a catch, and the league knew it wasnt a catch but they would then have to admit wrong doing, and admit that the replacement refs are jokes, but instead of that they just caved in to the real refs because they knew that was the worst call in the history of football and the replacement refs were actually in danger. If it was the other way Mike McCarthy would have said It doesnt matter what I think. The refs make the calls and we deal with them either way. Carroll just made himself look like more of an idiot trying to say it was a catch and the refs made the right call.

I just cant stand seeing a grown ass man jumping around like they won the Super Bowl everytime something good happens. Im pretty sure I'd feel the same way if he was the coach of the Green Bay football Packers which was recently called the best job in all of football not just the NFL.

I'm not a Seahag hater I love RW, and like teams where fanbases are really into their teams, but I just hate the coach.

No he didnt take my girlfriend unfortunetly were married.

    COACH FREDO IS GOD
    This says it all

Deep down, I always felt bad about it. Pete seemed like a good guy. Of course, that was the problem -- there wasn't anything coach-like about him. His teams consistently screwed up and did dumb things. His players consistently walked all over him and found trouble off the field. Even in his press conferences, beat writers found ways to undermine him and make him look bad. Poor Pete carried himself like a giddy substitute teacher for an inner-city high school, the high-energy dude who strolls in hoping to change everyone for the better and ends up getting duct-taped to his desk and covered with gobs of whiteout. That was Pete Carroll in New England.

    Every fucking time.

Place was deafening. If Seattle played all their games at home, they'd go 16-0. Crowd was just as loud when it was a 30 point game as when it was 7-0. Must be disheartening to be down by 35 points and the crowd is still so loud you can't even call the plays in the huddle. I don't see how ANY offense can go in there and play well. You really have to experience it to appreciate it. Also saw Captain Keith from Deadliest Catch in the pisser. Fucker looked about 80 years old.

I'm impressed with the Seahawks the past few weeks. Their offense has been much improved but their defense has really impressed me a lot. The biggest flaw is a poor record on the road which many of those games came earlier in the season but when it comes time to play a quality team on the road in the playoffs we will then see how good they are.

There were actually some people smoking weed in their seats in front of me who started complaining to stadium staff when they were told to stop that "it was legal, and they couldn't do anything about it." Fucking idiots like this will ruin it for everyone. You can't smoke ANYTHING in the stadium fuckhead. Shit like this gives the the other side ammo. It's legal, sure, but don't be brazen and idiotic about it. Get a clue assholes.

ty sir. laid off this one and both 49ers/Rams games. It is always nasty within that division no matter how shitty some of the teams may appear.
