Wilson has been lights out the last 5 games 11 tds 1 pick

Only way he has a shot at winning this is if he repeats those #s over the last 4 games and they win all 4 and the others tail off

Amazing year for rookies so far on both sides of the ball

    Seahawks at home -10.

Is there any conceivable way they lose this game? Looks like a terrible matchup for AZ no matter how you look at it.

Everything I am looking at says absolutely not, need more expert opinions.

This game is going to be very similar to the Jets game a couple of weeks ago and Dallas earlier in the season. The final score will probably be something like 28-3,7, or 10, but it won't get there until the 4th quarter. Expect a lot of 3 and outs from Arizona as the hawk defense is pretty close to lights out at home with the noise and the artificial turf. Our d-line really does get an extra split second jump at home and it makes a big difference.

Look for the hawks to be pretty aggressive in trying to get some points early, hold off the Cards and then 4th quarter them with heavy doses of Marshawn Lynch and Robert Turbin.

Even with a guy named Manning being there for the bulk of those years. You obviously saw what RG3 did tonight. Wilson also inherited a better team than either RG3 or Luck did. What did the Colts win, 2 games last year? Now they have 8 with 4 to still play. What did the Skins win, 5? They've already exceeded that total this year. Now they are both in position to make the playoffs. Not to mention RG3 takes on a two time SB winning QB on a huge Monday night stage with a division rival and leads his team to victory. Again, no knock on Wilson. He's been great. Just not as good as Luck or RG3. I would concede that he has performed well enough to this point that it is still in reach if he has an amazing last quarter of a season and the other two stumble a bit.
Thats an understatement. Its alot easier to not force throws and try and make things happen when you have a top 5 defense keeping you in every game. Let RW get behind big alot and well see how those ints go way up. That said hes having a great year, but hes no Luck or RG3, and the only people on the planet that would debate that is a seahag fan. I posted before the season started Wilson would be the 2nd best qb in the class behind Luck, but thers a long ways to go before we can reasonably debate this.

The reason I think Luck should be ROY over Griffin is because he doesnt have a system tailored to him. He would be better in RG3's system the RG3 would be in Lucks imo, and I said before the season started that if RG# wasnt in the draft the talk about Luck would be how athletic he is since hes toe to toe with Cams athletic ability, but RG3 is a freak of nature. RW is also very athletic and a born leader if he was 6'4 he could possibly be 1 of the best ever, but I think RW and RG3's size will catch up with them later in their careers when their not as mobile and they have to run less to avoid injury. Get 1 concussion and things will change its not a matter of if they get 1 its when.
I take this back I do think hes done enough to be considered with the other 2. Im not sure its fair to criticize him for having a better team. As of right now Id go Luck, RG3, RW, but theres 4 games left, and to not put him in the discussion is unfair imo.

Seahawks fairly healthy right now? How are we looking on that front?

Be careful it looks too easy, and we all know happens in those games. Seattle will be up like 23-7 with 2mins left and Zona will go right down and score a (meaningless) td

I would be betting money line, you will rarely see me laying 10 points in an NFL game especially with a defensive oriented game/teams.

    -500 right now.

The hawks have been pretty healthy all year. They are a bit thin at corner this week with Browner's suspension and Trufant probably still out.

I thought they were appealing that shit and putting the suspensions off? Did they have the appeal hearings already?

Looks like it's strategic as they didn't want both cornerbacks out for the same time. It's likely that Sherm will be available for the next two games and then out for San Fran, the Rams and any playoff games.

This way if the hawks make the playoffs then Browner will be available.

Lol @ a nearly 20 page thread devoted to the SeaClowns. A team that isn't even top 10 in the league. Maybe I should start a Browns or Raiders thread.

LOL at 20 pages, when you consider this thread started over two years ago on DD it's well over that pal. What kind of a reprobate hates his home team anyway??

I should like and cheer for a team simply because they are the closest to me geographically? I shouldn't take into account the players? Coaches? The organizations desire to win? Spending habits? Ticket prices? I never understood what kind of person cheers for a team simply because they are the "home" team. That's the laziest and most uninformed type of fan in the league. If I move, do I then simply automatically switch to the "home" team? If I move back, do I switch again? People like Pooh who probably have 5 or 6 houses in different parts of the country, who do they root for?

So by your pseudo-logic, you must cheer for the team with the best record every year, is that about it?

"Ticket prices"? You don't have to go to a game to cheer for a team? "The organizations desire to win?" Are you sitting in on high level meetings now?

There's a natural affinity for the home team. Doesn't always work that way but it's kind of natural.

This has been a bad day for you Assclown. log off and forget about it

I know how you feel about that, I'm just busting your chops.

I'm a Seahawk fan not just because I grew up here, but because it's a part of family dynamic really as my dad first got 4 seats back in 76 and I've been going to games my whole life.

Are you a transplant? As I recall you are not from here originally. Who IS your favorite team as I can't remember? The colts?

The bottom line is that most football fans root for the team their dad liked which is most often the local team. It's the team you have the most exposure to and it's the easiest to follow. Especially back in the stone age when all we had was the local paper, local news and George Michael Sports Machine to follow our favorite teams. Unless you liked the Braves of course.

It has nothing to do with laziness, that's just you being a cynic. It's logical to root for the home team, especially if you grew up with them.
