Wasn't it to do with the shit that was going down with Brandon? I seem to remember that Steve didn't like scammers running around shooting their mouths off, and I also think he got tired of arguing with Druff.

I don't want to speak for him, but he was upset at how druff hypocritically mods the site, anyone who Druff has issue with gets the banhammer, posts deleted etc... but when Brandon was unfairly called out and posted about for a ton of time Druff was inactive about it.

Also, he did some googling of names and found thread titles with false information in them appearing high on google with posters names attached and he didnt want any part of that.
