There is a huge hispanic population in this area (RI and MA). Put it this way, I guessed his last name based on the Sep from the get go. Not saying it's like Smith, but Sepulveda isn't uncommon in these parts
Lets put it this way, there are 46 Juan Sepulvedas in Texas, gotta be at least 5 in this area, toss in a couple John Sepulvedas and the waters get really murky. Just saying it's not out of the realm of reason that there are five or so J Sepulvedas running around RI
How much snow you poor bastards in the NE expecting?
True, but I thought one of the guys who has been in contact with you has known Juan since they were both in grade school together? Almost like a brother? If this happened when he was 15 to his father, I'd imagine his lifelong friend would have heard, or known about it. No idea, run with it if you think it's something. I was editing while Drexel was posting about how I knew a lot of PR's here in Ohio. I laughed after I edited and saw him say he thought Juan Sr. was in Ohio according to reports. We had a lot of pr families that came to my area 70 years ago to work in steel mills and such, so I didn't view the name as particularly rare.
Blind squirrel finds a nut.
I can't seem to imbed this with my iPad

The guy seems like a low level career scammer. My question is why didn't he just go for the big score and be done with it. Kinda like that bit coin Ponzi scheme guy. That dude should get an award.
''DeNicco's company is been prominent throughout the open as all final table participants receive a Blind Squirrel t-shirt''
*giggling*
I'm just going by wtf you guys said on radio, I don't even know who the friend is. I could easily keep a minor arrest that I didn't get any time for away from my friends right now. It would have been a little harder to explain my father disappearing for 72 months when we were in HS to my close friends. Maybe his dad was slinging crack and he said he moved away to his friends. Nothing would surprise me at this point in this story. I just figured the timing was likely off. Too early for him, and that his dad was likely a little old for the slinging game.
FTR, this one had me in stitches for the tag makers. Lot of gems, but :lol2 at this one

Jasep's Photobucket
4Dragons would not approve of how bad this art is.
i find it funny that you're still obsessed with thinking you were the first to peg jasep as a scammer because he was a week late getting you money. you got the money and in a reasonably timely fashion. you squirted your load over being a week late. if a week late makes you a scammer then i guess that makes a lot of people who rent apartments scammers.
in case you forgot your claim of jasep was dismissed because you had no evidence and the situation was entirely different from this one. just because in this situation it turns out that he was a scammer does not mean you were right. it means you were still a paranoid idiot that thinks a week late = scam.
no this is just getting outrageous. 4bet made a false claim which would have been false 99.9% of the time, but now it's acceptable because of something that had nothing to do with original situation 4bet proposed? stop being idiots.
this is like saying i knew hitler was going to rule over germany because he got kicked out of art school. give me a break.
Whenever me and him talked about radio, he was always mentioning he wanted to talk MMA, but the Filthy Limper co-hosts and audience might not be all that into it. On the very last show when I co-hosted, we talked about mma for a few. He said something like "Little known fact about me, but I used to run a few mma websites", or something similar. Mentioned The CagePotato.Com Bens, Ben Fowlkes and Ben Goldstein, said they might not remember him, but he hung with them at a show or something. I never had a chance to follow up, as he moved the show along, and I was gonna ask him which sites he ran by pm or email, at some point, but this shit started blowing up and it kind of went on my backburner of things to ask Sep about.
I contacted the Boston Herald's mma blogger via twitter, as he'd wrote short pieces about Sep years ago. I haven't heard back from him yet. Maybe I'll write to Ben Fowlkes too, since Sep name-dropped him, but he lives in Montana, so I can't see him knowing too much about local MA/RI mma bullshit. Never know, tho...
If anyone still has the last filthy limper episode, shoot me a link or a PM. I'd like to get a hold of it again.
I've known Tim for about 4 years in person. I went to his 40th birthday party. I would 100% vouch for him. Kevin has known him much longer, and I'm absolutely certain he would vouch for him as well. Tim is the real deal, and a real stand up guy, no doubt about that!

Quick question, perhaps I have missed this somewhere along the thread.
Jasep stole ~2500 from 22Q which he apparently loaned to some un-named female that still has time remaining to repay him with a tax refund.
Did he ever mention where the 5k went from the stake? I believe it was mentioned he got around 3700 new cash at the time.
This and the little girl calling in are two of the most disgusting things I have ever seen in my life. Cancer patients and sick kids? I really hope there aren't still people who think this sack of shit is just a good guy with a gambling problem. But I'm sure there are.
Are you sure there are like I was sure this wasnt a lifestyle with him?
It didnt seem likely anyone capable of such a lifetime commitment to fraud and larceny would rub shoulders with forum royalty for years, youre really going to blame people (me) for giving him the benefit of the doubt?
