I'm 99% on who Templar was/is. The stories all add up actually --for instance he was a college level ballplayer and Josh Hamilton played A-ball near his town, so they were more hyper-exagerrations than completely fabricated stories. I have a feeling Jasep's tales are the same way.

In fact, you were bemoaning the fact that Sep took something from you, your good feeling about yourself for the podcast and charity show. No, he cannot take that from you. In fact, by the time this plays itself out, you should feel good that have not ignored, not walked away, but are working, as are others to put this guy out of business. I don't know if he's a jr., I didn't read far enough to see the age of perpetrator, but it didn't sound like the same family from what I read, and have heard said about his family.

The one thing I will say on this line is that when you talked to Johnny after the Templar money was sent to Druff he was very adamant that "he is gone, you'll never hear from again." That said, the name we have for Templar checks out and it seems to be accurate from what we know. If I had to posit a guess I would say the Templar fiasco was just a seized opportunity. After all, he had paid back the victims essentially with their own money. Also, remember how he wanted to take care of Tony B personally? When Templar landed in the hospital was when I first contacted Jasep privately. I asked him if Templar was ok to see how he responded because I though they were friendly (I was leary of Templar from jump street) he made it clear that the guy was a scammer, and this was before anytinng really came out. This is why I'd say it was just a good opportunity for Jasep to jump on and come in and play hero -- which worked

I have no idea. From everything said about his family by those in the know, I thought they were all solid citizens? Like I said, I figured a lot of people saw that in the past days, it was one of the first things that pops up on a search.
You would know better than us, was his father in the picture? Is he a Juan Jr., I never paid attention if he was a jr. If not, maybe named after an uncle? Lot of people name their kids after their brothers if he isn't a jr. I have no idea how large a Puerto Rican population is in Providence. We have quite a few in one part of town here in Ohio. Basically the only Latinos I grew up knowing as there was no other Hispanic presence. I assume being closer to NY, there could be many.

Who's to say the guy was really born in 1980. Everything the guy has said turned out to be untrue. If the above was true it would be a good reason to change his name. However, he most recent felony probably wouldn't have resulted in only probation I'm thinking.

This is pure SPECULATION. I know Johnny was in fact a junior. He changed his first name to "John" from "Juan" because according to him "people made fun of his name" I think he may have even posted that somewhere in this thread.
I was told by Kevin and Tim that they believed his dad retired early from some company. Believed in their several encounters with him that he was a stand up guy...but obv people, Tim especially, have known Johnny his entire life or long periods of time and were totally in the dark about any of this.
Again purely speculating by how many "Juan Sepuvelda" can there be in RI? Also, I was recently told by someone who has known Johnny for a while that his father only recently in the last 5 years or so moved back to RI. This person claimed Johnny had stated his father was in Ohio before that.
AGAIN not accusing his father or anything. I am just relaying information I have been told.
edit: my first sentence stating "I know for a fact Johnny is a junior" is inaccurate. He told me he was. I never looked for or saw proof to validate his statement.
