I found that a few days ago, but he likely wasn't old enough in '95 to be doing shit like that. He would have been like 14-15, and that was an adult case, not a juvenile court. I don't know if he's a jr., I didn't read far enough to see the age of perpetrator, but it didn't sound like the same family from what I read, and have heard said about his family.

This is pure SPECULATION. I know Johnny was in fact a junior. He changed his first name to "John" from "Juan" because according to him "people made fun of his name" I think he may have even posted that somewhere in this thread.

I was told by Kevin and Tim that they believed his dad retired early from some company. Believed in their several encounters with him that he was a stand up guy...but obv people, Tim especially, have known Johnny his entire life or long periods of time and were totally in the dark about any of this.

Again purely speculating by how many "Juan Sepuvelda" can there be in RI? Also, I was recently told by someone who has known Johnny for a while that his father only recently in the last 5 years or so moved back to RI. This person claimed Johnny had stated his father was in Ohio before that.

AGAIN not accusing his father or anything. I am just relaying information I have been told.

edit: my first sentence stating "I know for a fact Johnny is a junior" is inaccurate. He told me he was. I never looked for or saw proof to validate his statement.

I have no idea. From everything said about his family by those in the know, I thought they were all solid citizens? Like I said, I figured a lot of people saw that in the past days, it was one of the first things that pops up on a search.

You would know better than us, was his father in the picture? Is he a Juan Jr., I never paid attention if he was a jr.

Don't know if he is a Jr. and I don't know if his dad is in the picture.

When those in the know say they know something we all have to remember everything they have been told or led to believe could be lies.

Even if his old man was a solid dude now, anything is possible 20 years ago.

True, but I thought one of the guys who has been in contact with you has known Juan since they were both in grade school together? Almost like a brother? If this happened when he was 15 to his father, I'd imagine his lifelong friend would have heard, or known about it. No idea, run with it if you think it's something. I was editing while Drexel was posting about how I knew a lot of PR's here in Ohio. I laughed after I edited and saw him say he thought Juan Sr. was in Ohio according to reports. We had a lot of pr families that came to my area 70 years ago to work in steel mills and such, so I didn't view the name as particularly rare.
