Take the popov's, or whatever cheapest kind of vodka you get, and run it through a Brita filer 3-4 times. Test the filtered against the regular.

Also of interest, nicer vodka's use better water, there is a vodka from texas I need to get and add to the list, Dripping Springs or something I think (need to google, basically a friend who recently passed in his sleep at 35 used to swear by it, he lived near Austin RIP) which used spring water and was supposedly heavenly.
Hows about I evaporate the shitty water from the shitty vodka and replace with spring water and then taste test?
This is actually going to be pretty cool IMO, it's certainly developing nicely. Better camera in the works as well.
