It's all perception. Obama is very good at playing up to and pandering to segments of the population that can benefit him and make them believe that he genuinely cares. Nothing good can come of this thread. Theres nothing you can tell someone to change how they feel. Its easy to have good points against both candidates because all politicians are crooks. The only thing almost everyone on the planet can agree on is W fucked up this country so bad that no matters whos President its going to take a lifetime to turn around. Let's not forget how much he ignored and criticized.....never ever supported nor campaigned for candidates who are rabid haters of homosexuality. Yeah Dick Cheney is a regular Civil Rights legend. A real champion for transgender issues as well.

Barack Obama has said that he is personally pro-gay marriage, but that his view will not affect his policy decisions. In other words, he's personally for gay marriage, but he's not going to push for any type of change on the issue. When he was running in 2008 he was against gay marriage (as was Clinton and Edwards). Dick Cheney is also personally pro-gay marriage, although he hasn't done much to personally fight for gay marriage to be legalized, but I think if he were given the opportunity to vote on the issue, he would vote in favor of gay marriage being legalized. Like Obama, he used to be against gay marriage before he went in to the WH, but later changed his views on the issue. He says he had a long conversation with his daughter (who is gay) about the issue, and in the end she made him change his mind. I respect him a lot for that.

What really irratates me about Obama is he claims to be the 1st black President, but His father was just a sperm donor. Not only is he 50% white he was raised by his white Grandparents in a white environment. He went to the best High school in Hawaii that only the super rich went to. The black sperm donor apparently trumps everything his white family did for him like raising him, and sending him to the best schools. The other thing that irratates me is black guys saying michelle is hot. She is fuckin broke off with her big ass underbite. I'd rather throw it up in Hillary then her.I agree.
