hopefully he doesn't find little Italy if you're a jets fan or it's all over...
None of us can predict the future, but when you look at the current big picture (draft spot, team/situation going into, how they appear as a person, etc), Becton might be top of the list for me for potential bust.

Followed closely by Herbert and Ruggs. Then Burrow, but only cause #1 + Bungles. Burrow cant really be ranked lower than like 7th for potential bust simply because of draft spot. Tua can fail as long as he's hurt a bunch....not a bust, warning signs were there.

I really wish they could somehow make public OL & DL guys weight....situations. I suppose if there even was a way to quantify it, it might be too un-pc to even mention. But if I was a GM, i'd always be targeting guys who either are not meant to be that heavy, and have to actually work to be 300 lbs, or guys that just kind of naturally sit at that weight without having to try hard to gain/lose.

Becton screams to me as a guy who has to try hard to LOSE weight, which might be troublesome when a guy is already 370.

Joe Thomas a great example of a guy who had to work to gain/maintain weight. Matt Birk another. Basically any OL who immediately loses 80 pounds in his first year of retirement.

Bill Parcells asked every player the same question before he would draft him. “What are the three things you love in life”. If football wasn’t in the top three you were off the list. It was OK to put God and Family above football but it had to be there somewhere.

My understanding is Becton didn’t interview well. Not that he’s a bad kid or whatever the issue was with the drug test is going to sink him. My understanding is he’s the type of kid who wants to be left alone and play video games with his freinds. Lights might be a little bright for him.

Guess we shall see. I think he’s got Bust written all over him too.
