on the one hand, i believe in his gene mapping thesis.
on the other hand, the assertion that covid took 6-12 weeks to get from wuhan to the united states is severely flawed at face value and people i trust to not make shit up have provided corollary data which lends itself to a late 2019 introduction.
im not saying i know how to reconcile those two positions, but its the 2nd one that i personally subscribe to and its not really a close race.

One of the greatest accomplishments of the Trump administration...shutting down America and ending school shootings. Trump should boast that there were no school shootings last month, thanks to him.

I think it has more to do with the fact that for public schools, all the employees are going to get fully paid for doing very little regardless of how long it rides out, so there isn't a ton of incentive for schools to reopen earlier than necessary. There are definitely going to be "winners" and "losers" to how this plays out. And the public school teachers/administrators who are going to get paid to stay at home and not work are going to fall in the former category, and all the parents who have to go unemployed and stay at home to watch their young children who dont have school will fall in the latter category.

People! People! People! The fatality of the coronavirus has been shown to be dramatically reduced by simply having COVID-19 sufferers lie on their stomachs when in bed instead of on their backs!

Amazon is suppose to come out with a coronavirus antibody home test kit soon.
Of course, the anti-body test just proves that you had the coronavirus and recovered.
What about an at home test to see if you are actually infected with the coronavirus right now?
If they don't start testing a lot more people soon, we will never get out of lockdown.

Too quickly? How quickly is too quickly? Its been 31 days since work from home. Is 60 days too quick? 90? 150?
I can count the amount of times I have had unprotected sex without Prep on one hand. I'll take it as a compliment that you think its more.
I'm not going to die. I had an insane workout regime pre Corona. I need to fuck a lot more guys half my age and everyone being afraid to leave their fucking house is not going to accomplish that.
I mean really. These twinks are afraid to go into an uber Ill send for them and have them drop right in front of my place to have their booty ravaged by my tongue and cock. Unreal
I agree an antigen/Ab combo test would be ideal.
That being said, antigen tests are MUCH more complicated, and require sophisticated biology/chemistry that must be performed in an extremely sterile environment. There are rapid HIV Antigen/Ab combo tests for clinical labs, but I haven't ever heard of any take-home version.
Generally IgM shows up fairly early, so an Ab test isn't completely useless, although you would definitely erroneously prove negative for the first few days, which unfortunately for this disease you may be very asymptomatically infectious.
I think the respiratory study I linked second from California with 3k cases and no Covid cases at all until late Feb is as compelling if not more. It is weird on the Wuhan thing but having 3k Ca samples and 6k Wa samples from already sick people is pretty compelling to me. . I certainly don’t believe California had any wide spread cases of any statistical note.
