The refs suck....is that what you want to hear??? Everyone knows it and has been complaining for months about it. Maybe now the NFL will actually do something and concede some of their points in the negotiations and end the lockout. However, people will continually watch these games no matter what, even if these refs are only qualified to ref pee wee football games.

What happened was that Erin Rodgers got sacked 8 or 9 times in the first half. That was and is fucking awesome. The Seahawks owned Mr. 4 yard pass all night long. CenturyLink Field is the home of the "12th man" for being the loudest fans in the NFL. So basically, they made Erin Rodgers their "13th BITCH".

You do realize the whole game was decided over a blown call while SEA was on offense, right?

Not to mention SEA was a LOT less effective defensively in the 2nd half, GB finally started moving the ball around and ate up a ton of clock, this is why even the announcers had mentioned that SEA had only 6 plays deep into the 2nd half.

THE LAST PLAY SHOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED. On two of the Packers's scoring drives, two third down unsuccessful conversions were turned into first downs by TERRIBLE calls. First, they called pass interference on a run play (lol) it was really illegal hands to the face, but either way it was on the opposite side of where the play was going and it should NOT have been called.

Then, they called a terrible PI on the CB breaking on the slant where he didn't even touch him until the ball was thrown. If these weren't called, the Seahawks could have burned clock, scored, or did something. The last play would NOT have happened.

Or what about that roughing the passer call when GB intercepted it at SEA 30 or the Shields PI on 2nd and 30 that gave SEA a 1st down.(Technically he hit the Rodgers below the knees but yet that call is rarely called by real refs) or the Brower personal foul when he had a huge cheap shot at Jennings, and Jennings got called for it also even though he didn't do anything.

Blown call or right call??? It's a judgement call, by horrible judges. One ref called it a touchdown and the other called it a touch back. The last play pretty much summed up the ineptitude of these refs but the whole season has been this way, so go blame the NFL for not giving a crap.


Basically Clay Mathews is crazy like Lattimer and will be fined for posting that number. Erin Rodgers pushed away a camera man walking off the field and nothing was said about it.

Unless this dipshit reporter is sitting in on the negotiations or has experience in complex labor negotiations, he really isn't qualified to open his cock garage. I'm sure it's vastly more complicated than simply, "giving the refs what they want".

While something obviously needs to be done, I can't really blame the NFL for not just bending over and taking it up the ass from the refs. That would set a horrific example for not only future NFL negotiations, but in other pro sports negotiations as well. The league can't reward them for striking. Hopefully both sides will give a little. The refs get a better deal and the league doesn't look like pussy's.

We left after the the Hawks didn't convert the 4th down with two minutes to go. I kept hearing cheering as we walked away from the stadium, and finally we peeked into a bar in pioneer square and saw the final play. It was pandemonium in the streets, people were going apeshit.

It was a bad call, but the seahawks of all teams were fucking due for one of these to go in our favor. Hopefully this will get the real refs back.

They didn't have all of their timeouts, but they had two and I thought they had 1. We jumped the gun obv and I don't feel the least bit bad about it. Stopping by that bar in Pioneer Square to watch the last play with a huge group of others and then seeing them all going crazy in the streets was fantastic.

This makes up for a couple of years ago when we left with the game in hand and somehow lost it while we were in the parking garage.

When the players hit the ground in the end zone, the officials determined that both Tate and Jennings had possession of the ball. Under the rule for simultaneous catch, the ball belongs to Tate, the offensive player. The result of the play was a touchdown.

Replay Official Howard Slavin stopped the game for an instant replay review. The aspects of the play that were reviewable included if the ball hit the ground and who had possession of the ball. In the end zone, a ruling of a simultaneous catch is reviewable. That is not the case in the field of play, only in the end zone.

Referee Wayne Elliott determined that no indisputable visual evidence existed to overturn the call on the field, and as a result, the on-field ruling of touchdown stood. The NFL Officiating Department reviewed the video today and supports the decision not to overturn the on-field ruling following the instant replay review.

The result of the game is final.

This is just incorrect the official with the better view didnt signal touchdown he signaled touch back, so the head official is supposed to get together with them and work it out. If both of them said TD and were both horribly wrong it would be easier to swallow, but why is the guy with the worse position given the call over the guy who has the full view. The guy who signaled TD couldnt even see the ball. I agree with some of the Packers they think he thought GB was the offense and signalled TD that is the only explanation outside of corruption to make that call.
