Minty may have caught a break. Evans is sitting for Memphis because there's trade talks for him.

Except since he's not 100%, he may have played like garbage, and could have actually hurt the Grizz.

Amazingly, this patchwork Grizzlies team is leading by 4 near the end of the 1st.

Lakers tend to lose when they are road favorites. I don't think they can handle the pressure when they are expected to be the better team.

    GL.
I was a little hesitant about this, too. Orlando really is garbage, though.

    Gordon is also out.

What concerns me more is the fact that I'm with the public on this one with the Lakers!

Right now they're 4 points behind, which of course means little at this point in the game.

You're correct that the Lakers can't handle pressure. They are huge chokers and pretty much fold in the 4th when the game is close, aside from that one recent one against Boston (which was also struggling big time).

Edit: Now they're 8 behind. Ugh.

GL but Cavs are fucking poison. They were before Love.

I haven’t looked but they gotta be the worst in NBA against the spread.

Danny Ainge has gotta be pissing himself about the Irving/IT trade

If Gordon Hayward came back and could shoot from a chair I think the Celtics would give the Warriors a run for their money in the finals.

I might have to start asterisking certain picks.

The Miami pick is again from that service which has about the same record as me this year (only about 40% as many picks, though), where sometimes they fall into my lap despite me not subscribing to the service (it's a glitch on their site, where I subscribe to a stats service and sometimes this also displays).

The only other one I posted from them was Houston -4.5 which I bet against Mintjewlips (and also bet on my own), and it lost outright.

Then I skipped the next few, and those did pretty well (you can see their results after-the-fact every day), so I took a shot with this Miami pick, even though I otherwise was going to skip that game entirely.

Of course, the Cavs are off to a good start, which true to their history this season, is typically the way they'll stay. So I have little confidence in that one.

I'll probably indicate in the future if I'm making a pick which came from someone else, rather than the ones I come to on my own. This is only the second time I've done it.

Given your record, maybe you should start asterisking all your picks.

My record is still very good overall for the season. I've slumped for the past week, but I was 18-6-1 in the 25 picks prior to that.

    Lakers are terrible.

They're going to lose to a team which is 3-20 in past 23.

Amazingly, Miami has caught up, and is just 1 down.

May bet on Phoenix under, but I'm waiting to see a few things.

I misposted earlier. It was the Lakers which were the service's pick, not Miami.

I reversed the two in my head. Don't know how I even did that, though I was a bit distracted with something else when I made that post.

And I'm not just saying this because Miami is the one winning now. LOL

But I will asterisk these in the future when I post them, though they will still count in my record.

Not gonna fire on the Phoenix total.

But I'm firing on Phoenix. Booker is likely to play.

Phoenix +3 (or moneyline +125 or better)

I'm doing 50/50 spread and ML.

Thinking twice about the 1% NBA integrity fee?

Cavaliers are a gift. Please let’s see more posts about Dubs v Cavs in Finals

Yeah, it covered by 0.5, but personally I'm not happy because I bet the moneyline on this one, feeling that the Cavs either shit the bed or play well, without much in between, so I didn't think the chance of them winning by 1 or 2 was that high.

Refs fucked the Heat, as the NBA clearly wants the Cavs out of their funk.

First, with the game tied 85-85, Lebron stepped on a defender's foot, who then fell down, allowing Lebron to easily pass to an open man for a successful 3-pointer. No call.

    So that was huge.

Then, with the score 90-89 Cavs with 12 seconds left, Miami successfully stole the ball, and a Cavs player (forget who) knocked the ball out of his hands, out of bounds. Somehow it was ruled Cavs ball, and that was that.

Heat did a horrible job with the final 7 seconds and couldn't even get off a shot (lol), but still, two huge bad calls at the end sealed the Heat's fate.

glad I loaded up on Portland last minute. Unless Bulls get something amazing, fade bulls for rest of season.

Agree. They were garbage without Mirotic, and they seem to be garbage again with him shut down again (and presumably traded soon).

If they called Lebron for an offensive foul for stepping on a defenders foot, it would be the first time in NBA history that call was made.

You’re a dipshit sometimes. Stretch a little further man. The concept of your gripe may be legit but you delegitimize it with this dumb shit
It's hilarious that we as a society think everyone can be a dr, a lawyer, an engineer. Some people are just fucking stupid. Why can't we just accept that?
