Looked at both Denver +5.5/6 and under 211 for the game.

Talked myself out of both. Now I at least wish I bet the under, even with the game only being about 6 minutes in. Actually I wish I bet both. Detroit looks horrible so far, though I could easily see Denver shitting the bed in this one. But the under is likely covering.

Cleveland under already off to a crappy start.

Every Cleveland game is 180 points at end of 3rd. Then it is a question of whether the fourth quarter is 50 points or 30 points.

I got fucked on my last Cleveland over pick thanks to this.

Hopefully it goes the same way tonight in the 4th.

Yup, really missed the boat on those 2 Detroit picks.

Cleveland under looks like it's going to lose, though it's not totally dead yet.

Both Lakers bets are a toss-up at the moment.

Really don't want to start the day 0-3.

Cleveland under got killed. That was a bad pick. Usually I don't regret picks when I lose, but this time I do. I shot it off at the last minute and honestly I wasn't as sure of it as I should have been. Fortunately most of you probably didn't take it, since it was in the last 5 minutes before the game.

Lakers under will probably win, barring OT. But NY is playing much better at the end of the game, and they're up by 2, so the +2.5 may not cover. Will be close.

Both Dallas/Spurs picks looking good in the early going.

Wow this 3 for the Lakers tying it at 99 (comeback from down 5 about a minute ago) could be a great or a disaster.

    23.9 secs left

If it goes to OT, I may lose both, and I definitely lose the under.

If Knicks score 2 and hold off til the last second to do so, then I will win both.

    Fucking OT

    The bane of unders bettors.

Now I either lose one or both of those Knicks picks.

Horrible play by the Knicks on last possession. They had 23.9 seconds to score, wasted too much time, then had to rush with 4.5 seconds after a Lakers timeout and completely bungled that play.

the nova/temple game tomorrow is at temple and I just have a feeling nova could be a little overvalued in a big 5 game...don't know much about temple's ability to keep it relatively respectable...

Temple certainly has the advantage of being at home getting 8.5 pts. Big 5 game probably going to be a grind it out type game with a lot of FTs shot by both sides. I think I saw somewhere that temple is something like 15 or 16 and 8 or 9 at home against Nova...I would EXPECT that number to go up to 9 just based on the Number 1 in front of Novas name. Would be nice to see temple jump out early. I honestly haven’t watched a single game that nova has played this year. I’ve seen temple play 2-3 times including against Wisconsin where they won at home by 4 in a low scoring game 59-55. I caught a bit of the game against La Salle and there were over 40fts shot in that game

I will take responsibility for the OT and losing both bets. I had the Lakers and Under too, and when I bet under and it is on pace to go under they go to OT half the time, just how it is.

Don't worry, I'll take the rest of the week off of NBA betting. This is a pretty clear sign IMO how it is going to be. So go ahead and keep betting your unders without having to worry about the game going to OT all the time.

Wow Luke Walton called that last timeout for Lakers betters only. No other coach in the league calls that timeout. I guess there is a reason to bet the Lakers.

He literally called a timeout and drew up a play down 4 with .6 left... and got his a guy a wide open look too. Gambling Gods made him bone it.

    What an awful day.

1-4 or 0-5 likely. Haven't had any days like this yet. Guess one of these was eventually coming.

Would be justice if my Dallas over was rescued by OT.

    Yeah, gonna be 1-4.

Really deserved 2-3 or 3-2, given the screw job on the NY game.

Was holding out hope that Dallas would go to OT, but that's not likely happening with a 9-point lead.

Ruined my 3-game winning streak and, yes verminaard, I'm back to .500 since Thanksgiving (21-21-1).

Record now 65-40-2 after this 1-4 day.

simpdog was right about the Spurs over. Probably wasn't a good pick. I regret that one and the Cleveland under. I don't regret the two Lakers picks.

seems like you've been following CBB for awhile...this is probably novas most talented team in a decade since foye-lowry-ray-sumpter, etc...this is probably going to be temple's biggest game of the regular season...big 5 title at stake and a chance to knock off the 'assholes from the main line'...upwards of 10 points just seems like a lot...but it's always in the back of my mind the rolling nova did to st. joes on the road, but have to think that temple has more talent than they do...

my eye is on the nova games at Xavier and at seton hall...if all teams are at full strength and you can get points for Xavier and seton hall I think those are really good spots...if nova can manage to win one of those games I will be truly impressed...

There’s certain teams I have very little interest in and Villanova is one of those teams for some reason. The last time I can remember having interest goes all the way back to Tim Thomas or Kerry Kittles playing there. I still remember them winning the NC in 85 and did like the old school matchups with Georgetown. Syracuse is another team I wont watch along with this current run of Uconn squads. I’ll watch Seton Hall, Providence, Georgetown, LaSalle, Temple, Princeton etc so it’s not because I dislike east coast basketball. To be honest I think it’s because I don’t like Jay Wright and his fancy suits haha. I’m sure I’ll watch the Xavier game and will tune in a bit to the temple game tonight. I’m definitely going to watch the Wisconsin/w Kentucky game because I’m trying to figure out this badgers team. Couple of key injuries to the badgers which hurt them against Marquette and they have lost 4 of 5 I think. I love Ethan Haap and I’m waiting to see if he’s going to carry this team. last game before finals for them and if the line drops below 7 I’m taking them for sure or I might just buy the hook if it’s at 7
