When the maniac fires out on a board like Q24 and you have KQ, you need to kick it up, as the maniac will pay you off with less. The BB just calling on the flop means he's probably behind, and you want to charge him for it.

When the BB flats the 7k on the turn, then you have to consider whether he's calling that much off with worse than your QK (though I don't know the BB's stack size here, which is important), and it's actually a tough decision on what to do. Much of this is player dependent -- whether you think the BB is the type who would still flat this much with a better hand, and how much of a chance he's flatting with a worse hand or a draw. Much of this is also stack size dependent.

In this case, OSA made the right fold, as the BB was flatting with a set, and the SB (maniac?) had shit.

You're missing the exact reason *not* to bump it up:

the BB flatting the flop bet from SB.

If he was HU with maniac, cool. But exactly what hand do you think the BB is flatting with? The instinct to throw more chips into that situation is why tournaments are profitable for people who dont throw more chips into that situation.
    Q10, Q9, any pocket pair?

Good point, you should have put them to a decision for all their chips. My bad.

    I get your depression.

You commit all that time & spend all that money on entry fees & hotel rooms to try & make an entertaining thread for the board & the most interesting part of it is the revelation that big dick is a big fucking liar. That's gotta hurt.

I want to thank all of you guys and girls for your well wishes via PM. Its cool to be able to bring us as a group, towards one goal and that's to have me go deep in a tourney.

My last one is on Sept 12th since I want to skip tomorrows tourney since its 9/11. Im going to get rest and will update the fucking and other epiphanies I have had on this trip so far.

Instead of playing cards on 9/11, I might just do Old Homestead.

Two commonalities among these tournies I see is that I build up chips early on, but once blinds get to 100/200, I stop getting cards and go backwards with my stack or stop getting cards and get put into a tough decision like my 75 or JA.

On one hand, I dont want to have that 23 spades hand happen where I wanted to steal the blinds again but at the same time I dont want to fold for 1.5hrs/limp with small-medium pairs to set mine until I get to 15 BB. I need to pick spots where I can constantly increase stacks as blinds go up.

Hopefully I can start getting top 10 hands so I can execute.

Nothing revolutionary, just something I noticed past 2 events.

It's totally standard to brick like 80% of the time even if you are a long term winner over a large sample.

No point to get down over the outcome that should be expected, embrace the variance and rather than folding in spots you think you are flipping for your 15-20bb just get it in and hope you run good.

The one thing you have to respect about OSA is his ability to keep a good attitude even when he's losing. This is just variance. Regs go 15-20 tournament in a row without cashing all the time. I wouldn't doubt it if you ship something once this stake ends. Playing on an asshole like Sonatine's money can't be fun for you. Just because Sonatine has enjoyed tournament success himself, and put down 100 or whatever piddly amount for your buy ins, does not mean that you should have to listen to his constant whining about your play. You should tell him to fuck off and not even accept his money next go around.

Nobody really cares about you not being able to cash, we are much more concerned with your inability to get laid.

After sleeping for about 13 hours, I have awoken and am heading to the Borgata for the buffet most likely. After I destroy my stomacwith the breakfast/lunch items, gonna then recheck into Harrahs where I will hang by the pool and get ready for possible Old Homestead.

And dont worry guys and girls. I have fucking stories to entertain you this boring Monday afternoon at work

Okay, so the following retelling of events are intended for audiences 16+ years and over.

After I busted from the first tourney, I decided that I needed something to lift my spirits and my cock so when I came back to Harrahs, and since he stayed in a nicer room I walked right across the casino to the Waterfront Towers and this guy who kinda looked like Chris Pratt(without facial hair) was on his knees as soon as I came in and gave me such a blowjob that he literally made love to my dick and as I blew my load he took it all, like an all star and licked every spot until my cock was literally dry. I didnt even really need a towel.

I told him that was great and he said thank you and I left.

Job well done, Chris Pratt lookalike, job well done.

Next up, my trip to Eggharbor Township to hook up with James Franco lookalike in an attic of a dilapidated house.

So tonight was Old Homestead and it did not dissapoint. Fine Dining, it is not. However, the service and hospitality are amazing.

First I started off with the Roasted Onion Soup and Crab Cake. The slaw on the crab cake was something bigdick would have gladly gobbled up but it was not appetizing.

I struggled between the Filet and the Gotham but I ended up going with the 18oz Filet with a glass of Cab and a side of sweet potatoes with walnuts and marshmellows.

The only thing I criticize is that the butter was not room temperature and that there could have been more walnuts in the sweet potatoes.

Last tourney, last "bullet in the chamber"as they say. (I made a poker pun, did you get that)?

Anyway, I feel just as good if not better mentally and physically. My dick is very happy these past few days. Going to be taking a Greyhound at the end of the day, if I make Day 2, or as soon as I bust.

Might stop by Bread and Butter before. Their chicken salad on walnut raisin is amazing.
