I have no way of knowing but it wouldn't surprise me. People who are comfortable with their sexuality with a healthy (or in Bill's case, VERY healthy) sex drive are usually warmer and more emotionally functional. Sexual repression causes anxiety and a host of other mental problems and interferes with interpersonal relations.
