I wanna believe in a big ass plot twist that is so convoluted that nobody is really going to second guess it. The bad part about that is that it usually ends up with Chuck Norris firing hidden mini rockets off of his motorcycle and blowing up an entire camp of merc's.
I mean I knew that the old lady was a disguise, so how would it not be telegraphed to Arya? But then again, how does someone get Arya's face if it's not already on the wall???
I guess the other thing that bothers me is that it's like the writers are bringing back people just because they were popular characters (the hound), instead of moving forward with this war?
The big question for me is how many episodes is this season anyway? I thought it would be 12, but the arc of this series is feeling more like 14 or 18? Am I nuts to think that?
this season is 10 eps like the previous seasons. The next 2 seasons, tho, might only get 13 eps total.
from what I read, the show writers thought 7 seasons was perfect, and HBO felt like 10 would be better for them, so we end up with 8ish seasons.

because honestly the 'they didnt have her face' issue is really only explainable by somehow engineering a confrontation with the waif who explains how he uses cheat codes AND that her debt was paid and so they are super cool 2000++. and that _could_ happen if arya is like ok fuck this, imma drink fountain death because wow im a fucking 15 year old girl who just got stabbed a lot in the belly and im done, im fucking done.
but the scenario where that event actually propels her arc away from braavos would be her bumping into the one person on earth who has karma with her and can offer her a future; the actress she saved.

I mean when she dove into the water on the bridge I figured that's where she left her sword and was gonna come up with it like the lady of the freaking lake, so I was a little miffed on that. I just don't see how some broke ass actress is gonna be any good as some springboard outta Compton? There's just too much of a long way around for her to just die in the street though, but she's not recovering from that wound without divine intervention - or it just wasn't her.
When she was pulling tons of faces off that one body, wasn't one of them hers? So they would have her face, no?

They did.... Kind of. The note Sansa was writing was to Mayor Carcetti to bring the Knights of the Vail to winterfell and she will give him ass sex.
Next week's episode is called "No One." The 9th, with a 60 minute runtime, will be "The Battle of Bastards", and the longest runtime of any episode yet will be 69 minutes for S06E10, "The Winds of Winter."
