like its really the only explanation that makes sense. in one scene, arya is holed up like a rat in a tunnel because she knows whats waiting for her out there, the next scene shes making a huge public ordeal about booking passage on a ship, throwing around vast sums of money, and crip walking around downtown braavos.

My brother was hanging out with me last night while I was watching the show. Side note, he does not watch got or read the books at all. He refuses to get into it because it's another time sink to him, which is fine; I get it. But he ends up watching random snippets here and there. He walked in on Jon Snow getting stabbed. I was like wow I am glad you are not into this show at all because that is a massive fucking spolier.
Anyways he watches Arya get stabbed and turns to me like hey, isn't she supposed to be some sort of badass ninja assassin? How did she get caught so unaware? How was it so easy for her to get stabbed? Why did she just jump in the water? Didn't she know those people would be looking for her so they could kill her?
I had no answers
I was going to rewatch before I said anything but I didn't think she had needle on her either.

#CONFIRMED
no needle, hair parted down middle like jaqen, behaves nothing like arya, honestly doesnt even walk like arya... AND although arya is certainly killable, stretching her death out across two episodes is retarded beyond any conceivable rationale and im sorry but she could get taken to cedar sinai with those wounds today and still not make it. her liver and kidney are down for the count, and that last twist opened up her stomach which is now leaking acid and half digested food into her blood.

Funniest guess so far has been that the whole arya/waif routine was a mknightshalaymaned fightclub/mrrobot situation.
I kinda liked the whole last scene with the hound even less than girl not knowing how to lay low. Like wtf he's randomly alone in the woods even though a scene before he acknowledged that there's likely some murder in the way and all he hears is 1 scream when 10 people get slaughtered, the whole camp ransacked and they had time to hang Lovejoy before hound gets back.

I guess they just had to write Hound back in on the action. They just kinda half assed it. The end result being slightly more moral Hound. Arya business might get explained/showed in non stupid way and it seems that Margaery didn't get stockholm syndromed but i can totally still see Tommen having been stockholm syndromed by proxy (he's just that fucking stupid).
There is no end game. This just keeps going until it stops printing money.
rum dick: sounds a lot like tommy wiseau claiming he intended for the room to be a comedy all along
or like GRRM deliberately shelving his work on a series of novels so he can test out audience reactions to the show.

But really this could 100% just be a case of the writers just flat out not giving a fuck about doing the show justice as they desperately clear the board of pieces before the curtain drops.
