USADA has tested Conor 5 times this year so far. These are lookup-able things.
It's so funny how calm/sanguine Dana is now in this corporatized era of the UFC, compared to as little as 5 years ago.
It's also telling that, and you can hear it in his voice, the UFC is walking on eggshells over this.......rather than previously when a UFC athlete would try this stuff and Dana would go on radio and in media scrums swearing his tits off and bad mouthing the person. Hell, he still kinda does it when there is a personal axe to grind (like with Holly's manager).
But here? Not so much. Them dollars are too good, even for the UFC.

Conor speaks:
I am just trying to do my job and fight here.
I am paid to fight. I am not yet paid to promote.
I have become lost in the game of promotion and forgot about the art of fighting.
There comes a time when you need to stop handing out flyers and get back to the damn shop.
50 world tours, 200 press conferences, 1 million interviews, 2 million photo shoots, and at the end of it all I'm left looking down the barrel of a lens, staring defeat in the face, thinking of nothing but my incorrect fight preparation. And the many distractions that led to this.
Nothing else was going through my mind.
It is time to go back and live the life that got me this life.
Sitting in a car on the way to some dump in Conneticut or somewhere, to speak to Tim and Suzie on the nobody gives a fuck morning show did not get me this life.
Talking to some lady that deep down doesn't give a fuck about what I'm doing, but just wants some sound bites so she can maybe get her little tight ass a nice raise, and I'm cool with that too, I've been giving you all raises. But I need to focus on me now.
I'm coming for my revenge here.
I flew an entire team to Portugal and to Iceland to make my adjustments in preparation and fix my errors I made with the weight and the cardio prep.
With the right adjustments and the right focus, I will finish what I started in that last fight.
I will not do this if I am back on the road handing out flyers again.
I will always play the game and play it better than anybody, but just for this one, where I am coming off a loss, I asked for some leeway where I can just train and focus. I did not shut down all media requests. I simply wanted a slight adjustment.
But it was denied.
There had been 10 million dollars allocated for the promotion of this event is what they told me.
So as a gesture of good will, I went and not only saved that 10 million dollars in promotion money, I then went and tripled it for them.
And all with one tweet.
Keep that 10 mill to promote the other bums that need it. My shows are good.
I must isolate myself now.
I am facing a taller, longer and heavier man. I need to prepare correctly this time.
I can not dance for you this time.
It is time for the other monkeys to dance. I've danced us all the way here.
Nate's little mush head looks good up on that stage these days. Stuff him in front of the camera for it.
He came in with no shit to do that last one. I'd already done press conferences, interviews and shot the ads before RDA pulled out.
Maybe I'll hit Cabo this time and skull some shots pre-fight with no obligation.
I'm doing what I need for me now.
It is time to be selfish with my training again. It is the only way.
I feel the $400million I have generated for the company in my last three events, all inside 8 months, is enough to get me this slight leeway.
I am still ready to go for UFC 200.
I will offer, like I already did, to fly to New York for the big press conference that was scheduled, and then I will go back into training. With no distractions.
If this is not enough or they feel I have not deserved to sit this promotion run out this one time, well then I don't know what to say.
For the record also -
For USADA and for the UFC and my contract stipulations -
I AM NOT RETIRED.

Prescription opiates imo I was watching her official yt channel.
Right before she died she posted a video titled "wake up". Looked like she was sedated, slurring while making a smoothy. 2 months ago she posted a video and she was vibrant and healthy. The difference was like night n day.
Things I took away after watching a few vids on her official yt channel, which I can't find now.
Her place had a kick ass view of the ocean.
She ate healthy.
She was incredibly nice. This surprised me I just assumed she was harsh for whatever reason./ RIP
Conor's back and not retired lol

More evidence Conor just wanted a place to do his cycle. USADA has a history of testing fighters at press events. They're all gathered in one place ffs.
Here's what the UFC was willing to do for Conor.
TMZ.
"Our sources tell us ... besides the massive payday, the UFC told Conor it was willing to move mountains to accommodate the fighter during the UFC 200 media tour.
Not only did UFC offer to fly Conor to every destination on a top-of-the-line private jet ... but also offered to ship out every single piece of his gym equipment from Iceland to Vegas for this weekend's media event so there wouldn't be a kink in Conor's training.
We're told McGregor was told his gym would be set up identically to his Iceland training center and it would all be ready to go the second he stepped off the plane.
Still, McGregor refused to budge -- and our sources tell us Conor was "shocked" when he was told the media obligations in Vegas were mandatory.
As for Conor's future ... we're told he blinked on retirement partially because of anti-doping rules that require fighters to wait 4 months after they un-retire before they can fight again -- and Conor doesn't want to wait that long. "
He's in a tough spot. He can go fight full natty and expose himself as joke w/o juice like Sage, Vitor and Reem. Permanently damaging his future earning potential. You guys excited about the next Sage Northcutt fight? LOL
Do what he is doing now, fighting for his right to juice. Things kind of backfired but he still has his reputation as a fighter who can kick ass and people want to see him fight. Surprisingly nobody can see what's going on, save it chapstick. Dana knows whats up, Joe knows too. They'll act like this guy that died shook Conor or whatever but they know. Deep in a Joe podcast Joe hinted that Aldo was in Brazil where he could sip some juice. About the time he called Conor a pussy in a tweet.
Get popped by USADA, he's wisely avoiding this at ALL costs. Fines, bans, reputation, future and his legacy in ruins for ever.
Wrong thread ooops

Please let him back on the card Dana. First Jones had to be a cokehead and now Conor is letting the pressure get to him and fucked this fightcard. Im getting screwed both times Im traveling to Vegas

Conor's true colors are showing. Nate was right; hes a spoiled little rich kid.
That said, lol at Nate saying hes not facing anyone but Conor. We arent 3 days or even 3 weeks from the event; we are three fucking months. Pretty sure that even if he wasnt banking the shit out of UFC 200, he would still be expected to find a way to adjust training with 3 months to go.
That said, I get it; hes playing the UFC's game back at it. Zero tolerance.

And what's fucked up is that I am actually on Conor's side on this one, and the fact his standoff is bringing up a more bigger discussion on fighter's rights, pay, obligations, even unionization/fighter's association, etc...is a great and much needed thing.
The problem is the fact the guy is SUCH a douche that all of that stuff will end up going no where, especially since the fight game is so cut throat and many UFC guys are willing to scab for that spot vs Nate. I am curious to see how long Conor holds out for his concessions.
Dana has also hinted Conor won't fight in NY.

Dana dodging the third title questions because he has to see how Jon Jones comes out of the fight tomorrow obv since Cormier/Jones would be his top choice.
Diaz vs GSP could happen but if that Light Heavyweight title fight don't go through it will probably be Lawler vs Diaz or GSP for the Welterweight strap.

LOL
Jon Jones, of all people, actually made a good point about that...how this was a learning moment for fighters to anticipate and negotiate things up front for their better interests. Him being an introvert himself, I am sure as he was blowing up in the UFC he probably went to the UFC a while ago and said, "chill with the media obligations" and the UFC relented.
The issue with Conor is that he's a talented fighter....but the attention he got was because he is a media whore. He started out his tenure as a media whore, using the various resources the UFC has in exposure markets and taking advantage of them 100% by acting like a jackass and a polarizing figure. And to back it up, he was knocking motherfuckers out.
But now he doesn't want to be media whore coming off a loss. He has a point because if he loses again, he'll lose clout within the media circle He'll always be a big draw, especially since he brings fans in from Europe, but the UFC really have him in a bind because he signed a deal, the champ clause, and they expect him to continue on with his media whore persona.
Conor made his own bed, but so did the UFC by embracing a lot of growth and this Reebok deal which as of now is backfiring in losing mid level FAs, as well as it's holding up the next potential GSP fight because he's an Under Armour guy and he wants the UFC to compensate for his loss of business with them if he comes back.
