It's fine guys, no worries! The new plan for UFC 200 is to call up Bellator to see if they can loan the talents of Kimbo Slice and Ken Shamrock to headline the card.
Dana slapped him like a bitch
I wonder how much this just cost Nate

classic hold out by Conor here for more cash and control, IMO...... I am sure the fighters are in a tough spot about how they feel about this if in fact he's trying to be the first guy to claim he is bigger than the UFC, since he is such a douche.
I also think it could be personal b/t him and Dana, won't be the first guy who is cool with Lorenzo but can't stand Dana.
I really wish I could know how many fights he had on his deal.
also LOL at 1:02 of this

crazy:
So there goes the "McGregor Promotions announces Conor McGregor will fight Georges St. Pierre at MSG on Dec 31st" idea.Sherdog.com has confirmed the existence of a so-called champion's clause, which provides that "if, at the expiration of the Term, Fighter is then UFC champion, the Term shall be automatically extended for a period commencing on the Termination Date and ending on the earlier of (i) one (1) year from the Termination Date; or (ii) the date on which Fighter has participated in three (3) bouts promoted by ZUFFA following the Termination Date ("Extension Term"). Any references to the Term herein shall be deemed to include a reference to the Extension Term, where applicable."
This clause is designed to protect the company against a fighter leaving as champion and to prevent the company's champions from using their contractual status to demand more money. Zuffa appears to see the clause as an option of last resort, though, because it has consistently refused to grant a title bout to fighters with only one fight remaining on their contracts.
Just saw an interview with Ariel and from what he heard from sources, it looks like the death in Ireland really got to Conor and he just didn't feel like promoting this fight. I wonder if that will be the narrative coming out of the SBG camp in these next few days.

so....
Did NATE just quit, as well?.....
A sales organization works the same way really. Just because a sales professional generates the most revenue, if he isn't in line with the companies "values and opinions" they will tell them to fall in line or gtfo, or even worse, kill their career before its peak by stifling growth i.e. Roy Nelso
The real question I have is this the beginning of some serious rumblings among the fighters to push back on the stuff Dana and Zuffa/UFC have done lately, not the least of which was completely fucking them over and undercutting their outside money with the apparel deal which was a take it or GTFO choice to the fighters.. Only UFC has basically shitted on their own fighters (which like WWE views them as independent contractors) yet limits their options for income outside the sport which prior they were able to pursue in the form of promotional contracts and endorsements. If the fighters see guys like Connor willing to stand up and say "Enough of this shit" UFC might not have a choice but to reconsider. I know, I know, its a pipedream as UFC still holds a lot of the cards but they've lost some to Bellator over just that issue. What happens if they start losing bigger names eventually?? Its hard to hold fight cards people wanna see if the fighters they wanna see go elsewhere..
I honestly wish Bellator could give UFC a run for their money much like WCW did to the WWE in the 90s it made the overall 'wrestling' product better, and competition in all fields tends to bring out the best.
I'm all for people making money, capitalism baby. but as a fan i dunno if im going to sit around and cry about zuffa/dana paying these guys. it's the fight game son and these fighters have been robbed for a longgggg long time.
and maybe, just maybe....
the hilarious thing about the UFC pushing through their exclusive sponsorship deal, is the NBA just ok'd exactly what the UFC banned.
fucking uncle fester, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Now appears to be a good time for Bellator to make a run against UFC if it wants to. There are just so many pissed off fighters. If I was Bellator (or Viacom who has deep pockets), and wanted to make a serious run to compete with the UFC, I would go after an entire weight class. They should find the weight class with the most disgruntled fighters and just take it over. Do it once and , and if it works, grab another weight class. Imagine if Bellator was dominate in just one weight class, and you had to watch Bellator and not the UFC for the true Middle weight champion. It would shake things up for sure and the UFC would be forced to pay its fighters better. Right now almost all the UFC fighters that go to Bellator are washed up so Bellator doesnt provide any true competition.

Read Kevin Iole column he just posted on Yahoo. This is so fucking ridiculous. Two hard headed egomaniacs costing the fans the fight they want to see. Completely insane.

So Conor was in Iceland doing a cycle and decided that refusing to show up is better than showing up and getting popped for juice. Iceland lol just go to Antarctica why don't you.
It's pretty unlikely that USADA will show up in Ireland but if they do Conor can evade them and claim some miscommunication. If he's at a UFC press event what's he going to do, hide under the octagon. Take off running and claim insanity, there's no out. It's ok to miss a test, that's the USADA loophole.
OMG this is plain as day, there's no fucking way Conor can beat Nate w/o juice. You don't become Conor w/o juice period. It's a smart move by Conor, all these wild rumors and the answer is so obv. Do not doubt me on this.
Probably Ireland not Iceland lol, same thing. A safe place to juice.
