If you go out of your way to meet people you have exclusively met on the Internet, you have to deal with the results, especially on a degen gambling site. Years ago I was part of a stock forum and gave out my name/number to a few folks. When the market tanked I had one psychopath calling me for money to help fill his shitty ass margin call. When I refused he began harassing me and calling me for an entire weekend. Luckily it was my home line I never used, so I simply unplugged it for a week and he eventually quit when my voicemail filled up, but it was unsettling. I was in my early 20s at the time, but never again.
Watch the movie the Cable Guy and keep that in mind who you randomly befriend someone.

Garrett cannot post. Drexel knows this, and he also knows that I'm not undoing that. So I'm not sure what his issue is.
So I did everything Brandon asked. garrett was out of line, and I told Drexel (both on radio last night and privately) that I will remove him and not let him post here.
I am not going to appoint mods. This site isn't big enough to need mods, and I am here enough to where I can usually clean up the crap within a few hours.
I do not want mods because I don't want to create a pissing match between me and the mods regarding our possible different interpretations regarding who should be banned, who should be restricted, etc.
Some of this was what caused the demise of DD. Too many different views and opinions of how the forum should be run/moderated, and a power struggle occurred.
As I mentioned last night at the end of radio, when I left DD, my plan was to leave these forums forever and not look back. Only after some months passed did I soften on that, but I resolved I would never get in that situation again. I will sooner take this site down than appoint mods here.
Marty, do not post "anonymous" e-mails bashing me again. I believe the e-mail you posted is from neveragain39, who is a banned user here. When I ban someone, it means they need to be off this forum completely -- not ghost-post through you.
If I see this again, you are gone. I don't give a shit if you think you bring the hits or whatever. I don't run this site for "hits", money, or traffic, so you're gone if you can't respect a few simple rules here.
Regarding certain bad posters here, I will take it on a case-by-case basis. If someone is just unpopular, I am not banning them. If someone covers the forum with nonsense, then I will either ban or post restrict them. If someone is mentally disturbed to where they are harassing or threatening other users here, I will ban them.
Drexel runs bad when meeting people from this forum. I would be pissed too if I did things to help someone I don't know and never spoke badly about coming at me because of some people I'm friends or associated with. That isn't a reason to ever hate someone and make threats at them. A lot of young chicks do this to one another in life more so then guys.
We all have our choices and you can't blame Drexel for not wanting unnecessary stress in his life from some guy who is clearly unstable.
WTF knows how serious garrett really is. In today's world if you ignore these type of threats from people who seem to be not all there the next time we hear about them could be on the news.
Most likely garrett is harmless but some threats shouldn't be ignored. This guy goes from as normal as garrett can be to being bat shit crazy like the last posts he made on the forum before he got banned.
When you have a random person you once met off the internet sending you crazy threatening messages it takes things to a new level then someone just saying that shit in a public message forum playing it up because it's their game.
This same junk would have happened at some point if garrett had access to the sports betting forum imo, which I will confirm has no shit posting in it. The sports betting forum hasn't really been that active all.
A person can be entertaining to some people because it comes across as a character in a tv show, movie, book,etc... When it goes beyond typical forum banter to real life threats of physical harm on you, your girlfriend, family,etc. it crosses the line big time. It's serious business!
The one thing I will say about garrett to be completely fair, which has nothing to do with Brandon's situation is that sonatine really abused this kid too hard with posting the mugshot picture over and over again. Even if a lot of people found it funny the first time it was way over done (dozens if not hundreds of times) to a point that if it was pissing garrett off so much he should have pm'ed Druff asking him politely if he could tell sonatine to simmer it down with that.
I hope Brandon don't permanently leave because of this. A lot of people appreciate you Drexel over the years and we would hate to see you leave due to some mutt off his meds making ridiculous threats which likely are complete bluffs but you can never be too careful, nor should you have to deal with this since you did nothing to deserve it with rawwolf or garrett.
Perhaps both of these guys were lonely having these great expectations of coming to Vegas leaving with radio like stories of hanging out with Brandon and felt in some way snubbed that it didn't happen as they would have hoped so that part is frustrating them to having animosity towards Drexel.
I agree, this is a clear cut case for not meeting a random internet stranger with a known and very bizarre public history. Next time leave the stake at the lobby desk in an envelope, or better yet don't stake random strangers in straight jackets at all. Problem permanently solved.

I will also work to close this loophole to where post-banned users cannot IM, PM (except to me), or give rep.
Some of these things were add-ons to the software, so they don't automatically do this.
I'm also killing the Pickering thread entirely.
I'm not spending a ton of time editing out all of his name and business name mentions in a 25-page thread.
Fuck that, especially when Marty still wants his full name censored (yet uses Pickering's) and shows such little respect for me and this site to where he posts nasty messages on behalf banned users, as well as bashes me and the radio show in a thread where he brags about winning $40 from that very same show.
