Since Marty is determined to ruin this thread, I'll suck the remaining bit of fun out of it now.
This was from when I had shingles. As shingles occurs due to a hiccup in your immune system, sometimes its appearance is a symptom of having The AIDS.
This was actually a dual prescription, one to get the shingles medication, and the other to have an HIV test.
I decided not to do the HIV test, as I felt it was overkill.
Turned out that the string of illnesses at the end of 2010 was just plain old bad luck, and I was very healthy throughout the following year.
So while 4 1/2 years have passed, and I am not showing any signs of having The AIDS, I guess we still can't rule it out, since I never had that test.
I blame the shingles on my TDaP booster shot from a few weeks earlier. There are reports that some people getting that booster shot have come down with shingles 2-3 weeks later, though the association was never proven. I had no choice but to get that shot, though, because Jenny McCarthy brought back Whooping Cough, and that's deadly to infants.
