I am still at a loss as to how Micon will operate in Jamaica without being licensed. Puzzling as to how the silent partners will manage to remain anonymous. Wouldn't they have had to sign contracts when gave Micon 50 percent or whatever it was of seals? I am sure they communicated. Wouldn't Micons partners who wish to remain anonymous be located thru computer emails back and forth between Micon? I hope they get away unscathed, just wondering if could be further actions or the serving of the warrant is the end of it. Seems unlikely that serving of warrant is the end of it . Would it have been possible to encrypt all messages? Hopefully that was the case.

This is only notable because Micon has been responding to comments on it, the big one being that he had signed a lease on a previous trip so already had a residence there. Considering the timing, I wonder if NGC raided his home earlier than they intended because of his traveling and getting living arrangements set up in Antigua.

It could possibly be that they were fearful of his relocation coinciding with the relase of 2.0 software (which was stated as being close to release).

Ousted gaming company owner considers Antigua for business

The chairman of Seals With Clubs, a Bitcoin Poker gaming operation which US authorities suspect has been operating illegally, said he’s is considering moving his business to Antigua permanently after his Las Vegas home was raided on February 11, 2015.

The businessman, Bryan Micon who also confirmed to OBSERVER media that he is already in Antigua, denied reports he “fled” to this country to hide from US investigators who, in a search warrant, said his business is in violation of the Nevada Revised Statutes NRS 463.750(10b).

The warrant further alleged the gaming site does not have the appropriate licenses as required by State law NRS 463.160(1a).

In an exclusive interview, Micon said, “With the recent development with Seals With Clubs, my former partners didn’t want anything to do with it anymore for whatever reasons. Some of the guys we’re still working with are re-launching a server in Europe and are going to start offering Bitcoin poker to the world and they are very interested in settling here in Antigua and opening an office here,” he said.

The investor said he hopes they would succeed in setting up business here and he’s encouraged that Antigua has been fighting the US, through the World Trade Organisation (WTO), in a decade old dispute.

The entrepreneur added, “I have been watching the new Antigua government and it looks very positive to online gaming and tourism businesses and employing Antigua and creating new Antiguan jobs. So, it seems it is such a wonderful place to live and work and I’m considering to go through the motions to see what it’s like to base everything here.”

Micon said he became chairman of the company after his partners quit and “handed over all the assets” immediately following the raid.

He also said he is not suspicious of his partners who wish to remain anonymous, although they readily handed over everything to him, and have decided to walk away from the company without a fight.

Speaking about the online media reports that he’s evading prosecution by US authorities, Micon said he came to Antigua about a week ago, but added his trip was planned long before the recent raid.

The entrepreneur, however added that although it was planned for a later date, it was brought up by a few weeks to give his family “a break” from the trauma of the experience, during which his electronic equipment, valued at over US$20,000 and his wife’s phone, among other items, were allegedly taken from the family.

As of now, Micon has 3 things to worry about:

1) Charges pending from SealsWithClubs.com via NGC

2) Charges being generated from SWCPoker.eu or whatever via NGC because Im sure hes still legally a Vegas resident

3) (a whole new problem) Charges being generated from SWCPoker.edu by the Antiguan authorities, who arent going to take kindly to some honkey yank stoner thumbing his nose at all their well established gaming laws from a beach front rental.

As bad as #1 and #2 are, at least he goes to jail on US soil. #3 puts him in the slam in Antigua. And that is sooooooooooo real.

- They are going to immediately run the server from Europe (probably that same Romanian server, or if not something similar), and he will just live in Antigua to avoid the US authorities from cracking down on him for offering games to US residents.

- If everything goes well, and he can get investors, he will move the whole operation (including the servers) to Antigua, and legally register/license everything a legit business there.

He is doing the Europe thing so he won't be breaking Antiguan law (or at least so he believes) by operating an unlicensed gambling site there. I am not sure how Antigua feels about that. Perhaps they only care about licensing if the physical servers are based out of Antigua. I don't know, perhaps someone can clarify out here.

I also believe he did this interview because he wanted to make clear to Antiguan authorities that the new Seals will initially be run by his partners in Europe, and not from Antigua, thus not leaving him on the hook for a license.

Also it looks like he is denying moving to Antigua to run from US authorities, so he will be deemed more suitable to get a license down the line. One of the requirements for licensing in Antigua is that you're not on the run from the law elsewhere.

I'm not sure how he thinks he's going to pull off that explanation, since he clearly stated in his own video that he decided it was better to leave the US "sooner than later" after the raid, and you don't have to be a genius to understand what that meant.

With that said, he is telling the truth that he was planning an Antigua move before the raid. That part isn't BS.

So that explains how he will get around licensing, the server will be in Romania. I still wonder how Antigua govt will be with the fact that he is running a poker site from their country albeit the server is not located there. Lot of gamble. I thought I would put this out there even though I don't honestly believe it myself. I think everyone, including most of us here and on the radio show, picked up on the fact that the Seal presser released the other day really went out of it's way to say that Micon never had control of the money or any other "real responsibility" at/with Seals.

Could it be that the rest of the company is over in Europe and they are just throwing out bullshit to help Micon and possibly themselves? If Micon has any pull what-so-ever at Seals anymore there is no way he would let that presser come out reading the way it did unless he was in on it.
