    NBA trades, deadline 2015

    Lots of moves.

KG back to Minnesota. He's 38. What a depressing way to end a career. Brooklyn gets Thaddeus Young.

Miami gets both Dragics from Phoenix.

    Portland now has Afflalo.

    Celtics now have Isiah Thomas.

    Tons of other moves: http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/page/...e-tracker-2015

    Discuss.

I like Arron Afflalo to Portland.

I have seen the Nuggets in person 4 times this year and they were awful to watch, even worse than the 2012-13 Bobcats which I had season tickets for. At least that team tried hard.

    Lots of crazy shit today.

Not sure what I think about the swapping of mediocre to average PG's (Knight-Thomas-MCW). Nice little piece for Boston on a low contract.

Dragic to Miami should make the Heat slightly more interesting. I had forgotten how good Dragic was last year, he had a case for All-NBA 1st team (I think he ended up with 2nd team).

LOL at the Nets trading 3 unprotected picks + expirings to Boston for KG, Pierce. How does Billy King still have a job?

I have heard KG may morph into ownership there ultimately. Excited about Boston getting Thomas

The Lakers, which just look horrendous as an organization right now, are supposedly looking at Rondo and Love in 2015-16.

    What??

Rondo is already looking like a has-been at age 29, and Love is having a disappointing year with the Cavs.

I could totally see Jim Buss overpaying these two and continuing the recent trend of fail.

LOL @ signing Rondo. I am glad the Celtics got whatever they could for him. The Lakers should continue to tank until the next big free agent comes to market.

Pistons made some minor moves today trying to squeak into the playoffs in the weak Eastern Conference.

Apparently the Suns have no issues giving up the final playoff spot in the West with their moves, lol. I mean I understand that a 3-guard backcourt was never an ideal situation - especially with Bledsoe getting signed long-term this past offseason...but I'm still kind of lost as to why they got rid of a rising star like Thomas instead of just dealing the Dragic brothers. And for what? Brandon Knight (and some picks)? Meh.

Memphis raised with the Jeff Green trade, and Portland called with Afflalo. I'm homer-biased here but I think it should now be a bit clearer seperation in the west, with GSW, MEM, and PDX being the top 3, a little ahead of the rest. OKC could be the ultimate wildcard obv.

Shocked that MIL traded away Knight, who was their best player in their surprisingly good season so far. HUGE score for Miami getting Dragic for spare parts, assuming he resigns there. Then again, Dragic has now clearly shown that he's one of those guys who'd rather put up big numbers on a shit team then play for a winner, so who knows.

I'm not surprised by that. Knight was good, but Carter-Williams is better. Milwaukee got the better end of the deal.

KG back to Minnesota lol. His career has been over for years. Why the fuck would you even bother with him.

I'm not surprised by that. Knight was good, but Carter-Williams is better. They got Miles Plumlee too.....a center who is consistent....which they haven't had in years. Milwaukee got the better end of the deal.

Sell tickets/Mentor young players + he will be joining their ownership group

Garnett is a pile of shit. Always has been. A dirty player. I guess if that's what Minnesota wants.....

Was just gonna say nobody really talking about MCW because it'll end up being irrelevant this year, but this kid is a fucking stud. only reason to watch the sixers. Triple double threat every 40 minutes he plays.

and FYI Sloppy Joe Billy King was our old GM, the Sixers. Look where he left us.

    It's incredible.

He maxed out Deron Williams. Other teams probably would have also but still.

He traded three unprotected first rounders for Pierce and KG, neither of whom play for them anymore.

He took on Joe Johnson and part of that deal was agreeing to swap picks with the Hawks. Guess which pick will be higher next year.

He traded a future pick to Portland for Gerald Wallace (dumped in the aforementioned KG/Pierce trade) that was only top 3 protected because the Nets only liked three players in the draft.

    That pick became Damian Lillard.

Also, he somehow fucked up any type of Brook Lopez-to-OKC trade.
