Notice that the videos actually have production value. They weren't just shot with a cheapo camera and uploaded to the net. They have the "static" at the beginning as Obama speaks, and then do a "fake TV turn off" effect at the end. I'm not saying it's amazingly complicated stuff, but the videos have enough production quality to where both murders could have been faked for the camera, and then actually committed later.

We will see if there's a 3rd video where they provide some kind of proof of when they were filmed, such as one of the hostages saying the date and the prior day's news headlines. Steve Sotloff saying, "By now you know who I am" is meaningless, because that would be easy to predict given the first video's earlier release.
Im confused about why any of this matters. So there is a shot of the dead dude with his own head sitting on his chest? So they clearly murdered him. Does it actually matter if the murder appeared just after the video cut off, or at some other point? I mean they killed him and lopped his head off. Does anyone care if they humanely gave him a shot and he just fell asleep and then they decapitated him after he was dead? Is the outrage really over whether or not they sawed his head off with a rusty spoon or not? I think the fact that they MURDERED these guys is enough isnt it, regardless of the manner?

I agree. But the question is about "enough". Enough for what? The debate in this country is reminding me of 2001-2. The morons scream, "Go get them" and the government is all aboard with the war machine. Everyone agrees that ISIS is terrible, barbaric and murderous, but I've yet to hear if they pose an actual threat to America. We've already put soldiers back in Iraq, albeit not that many. How many more is acceptable? Even fucking Rand Paul has changed his tune and is open to military action.
