I intentionally rewrote the thread title to reflect the real story here.
Which like I said before is nothing.
It would be like me asking a co-worker if I could fuck his wife, and he said no,
Then I ran around telling everyone I almost fucked her,
or to put NBH's post in perspective, "she tried to fuck me, but he said no".
unfounded???????
You are Mr selective. Its like you go through and find one stat here and one stat there and say he is better.
The 2 sites I look at, maybe you've heard of them, ESPN.com, & NFL.com both have Alex lower overall, a worse WL record, and if you want to say the 49ers had plenty of weapons during the season, you simply don't understand football.
http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorysta...ualified=false
Alex had the 2nd lowest yards per att in the league, which is the common denominator.
You can't win a Superbowl w/him, you have to play perfect football, and that is just too hard in the NFL.
As much as I hate saying it, Philly is going to be tough next season.
Look at that Yards per ATT on Foles.
That is over 300 passes, too so that isn't a small sample size.

it would be stupid like when Marty Schottenheimer was fired from the Chargers head coaching spot after having a 14-2 season in 2006...
If only kap had some weapons to work with maybe then he wouldn't be last in yards per game.
I mean if only he was lucky like cam newton and had 40 year old Steve Smith as his number one receiver...I bet kap wouldn't be dead last then.
Eta seriously the poster who pointed out Alex Smith's receivers nailed it. Dexter McCluster rofl...and the guy is still throwing for 20 yards more per game.

Bay Area News Group columnist Tim Kawakami will be on hand for a 49ers live chat on Wednesday at 11 a.m. PST, when he'll break down the 49ers' situation with head coach Jim Harbaugh.
Wow,
this is straight from NBH's favorite 49er beat reporter.
TK--My best guess is 1 more year with both for sure, and then the results and the emotions of that year will determine the likeliest path from there. Likeliest of the likely scenarios is that Baalke the one who stays and Harbaugh goes, either in 1-2-3 years.by Tim Kawakami 11:04 AM

Serial Fail write in and say all of this wouldn't matter if he just stayed w/Alex.
Who the F is on tilt now? NEG NEG NEG
Rumple dick triple posting on a thread that he doesn't care about.
NBH
you missed this post,
http://pokerfraudalert.com/forum/sho...l=1#post230336
But, you are right, if only Harbaugh and Balke got along before that Seattle game, Crabtree would've caught that pass and they'd be super bowl champs.
I really hope they kiss and make up.
Thanks Rum dick, you are right, "Gore sucks", adding that Patton was our # 2 WR for 10 games, you make a good point, it was practically a one man show this year.
Keep clamoring all you want about "fantasy football stats".
You win games by scoring points, throwing for more yards and more TDs gets you more points, Alex Smith threw for more yards and more TDs. That is actual, real game points. Not fantasy football scores.
all of this kap stuff needs to be merged into the "kap is shitting the bed thread"
Wow, Rum tilt, relax,
I'm an adult, I don't care about my score, thought you felt the same
I won't neg you again, fucking A, just don't pull a Jonathan Martin on us.
Serial fail, I can tell you think you think you are making great point, but
There is a reason you want your fantasy QB down by 20, so he will throw, losing teams have to throw.
Stafford and Ryan were # 3 and 4 in total yards,
Russell Wilson # 16, Kaepernick # 20, (alex # 17 BTW?)
And you want to say Passing Yards = Wins???????????????????????
You keep picking and choosing, and I'll go w/the stat the NFL uses to decide who is # 1.
If you had to one stat other than that, it is avg per att, not comp, avg per att.
or else you have to go into saber metrics.

Touchdowns = points.
As a matter of fact, if your simple mind is having a hard time grasping this concept, a touchdown provides more points than any other avenue of scoring in the National Football League.
To break it down for you even further, a touchdown is worth 6 points and after the touchdown you can kick a PAT or go for a "2 point conversion". A touchdown usually results in 7 points.
Alex Smith threw more touchdowns than Kaepernick did last season. That results in more points on the actual scoreboard, not this "fantasy football" scoreboard you are busting a nut over.
Correct. And interceptions often cost your team points. That's why Nick Foles's 27 TDs and 2 INTs were astonishing. Next year we will see if that was a fluke or not.
Kap's TD/INT ratio was 11th in the league last year, ahead of Andrew Luck and Tom Brady.

You nerds need to calm down. Here is a stat I like.

What up anderson cooper
No update here, huh?
Yeah I'm the one in Denial,
Hockey guy, relax, why are you so mad?
Harbaugh puts all media in its place (including scoop hustler),
and no one wants to post that story? The headline at pro football talk, (the guys that actually broke this "story")
Look if you guys want to troll me, fine, I can take it,
But when it blows up in your face at least have the decency to post that, too.
