I'm convinced that the 2+2 HSNL community is comprised primarily of naive morons who think that skill in NL cash somehow translates to competency in other areas in life.

First, they tend to be super arrogant and dismiss any commentary that comes from someone they can't verify is a regular high stakes NL player. That would be a totally sensible way of running a high stakes NL strategy forum, but incredibly stupid for forums simply about the community itself.

I tried to get involved in the WCGRider/Josh Taylor/Jungleman thread, and they jumped all over me for daring to say that Jungleman should be a suspect because of his routine association with scammers. (For some reason, his high degree of complicity in the Girah scandal was irrelevant in their eyes!)

Now we have a group of dummies telling China and I to "have our fight (with wesrwood) elsewhere", and are trumpeting his successful escrowing of previous fantasy football money.

You know... because nobody ever sets up a long con, or anything.

This is not confined to the 2+2 HSNL community. This is a problem in the entire gambling community. They are reacting no differently than all of Jasep's nuthuggers (and there was a lot of them) did in the "Projekt Sep" thread over here. People started questioning his bullshit, and the response was overwhelmingly "take it somewhere else." So, don't try and act like they're crazy and everyone here is so smart. Members here are just as fucking clueless and naive as they are over there. Except members here should have fucking known better given the countless scamming threads that have occurred over the past decade at NWP/DD/PFA/TYDE etc. Anybody who sends money to someone they don't know over the internet is a fucking idiot. I can say that it was determined at the time by several people that it was highly likely that you and "tenegnation" were the same person.

Even if there were two different real people involved, it's clear that the two of you played pranks together at one point (the whole ass-kicking thing), and knew each other in real life.

Unfortunately for you, even if you're mostly telling the truth (that Derek was the one responsible for most of the lying and scamming), it appeared to be you.

I do find it odd that you are holding tens of thousands of dollars for fantasy leagues when you were scamming for $5 just a few years ago.

Either you somehow hit the big time since then, or you are holding money that is many times your bankroll. If you really are holding $40k and don't separately have $40k cash to your name, you are not a good choice to escrow for the league, even without your questionable past.

It is never good to have someone escrowing money who has a high likelihood of really needing that money at some point while holding it.
