Seriously, can we just accept that rock music sounds way better for stadium halftime football shows and not do the whole hip hop thing anymore? I am not even a Jack White guy; but that was objectively so much better than any of the last 50 hip hop halftime shows (yes, some rapping incorporated into a rock show is fine).

Did anyone else watch the halftime show? A 50 year old Jack White with not much production just showed why having actual musicians, not people talking or poorly singing over electronic noises, is superior to the trash they keep shoveling on everyone (and will do again this year) in the Super Bowl.

Kalam just made the verbatim post in the wagering thread. And I agree with both of you.

This is the difference in the game at this point. While it is possible he was yelling for a timeout before signaling, I think it's highly unlikely - those things always go hand in hand.

I would guess this is fake news. A lot of their business is parlays with bad odds, with tremendous hold. And they are very aggressive limiting “sharp” accounts.

I think it would be mathematically impossible for them to get torched by bettors.

But they are heavily regulated and taxed, so profit margin might not be as high as one might expect.

Completely agree about the halftime show. Pleasant surprise.

"Impacting revenue" doesn't mean losing money hand over fist. It just means winning less than expected. And if you only take square action, you are at short term risk of being impacted if square bets run good over a time frame. Big favorites were winning early in the year (which was why there was little survivor carnage first few weeks) so if you intentionally attract a customer base that likes to put big favorites in parlays it can "impact revenue," even if you are giving them bad odds.

And now GB is up 10 after a very questionable Lions going for it in the early 4th on the GB 21.

This can make the 3 entries on GB look genius if Eagles & Ravens lose.

As I originally posted I was taking a look at NFL for the first time this year and it looked like the public had done well. NFL does not intersect with my life and I found this interesting.

We can drill into the earnings Monday if you like.

Goff keeps getting sacked in these critical spots by the goal.

    Game over.

If Cowboys, Bears, and Bengals do it, Circa will be down to 49 entries.

    Big if, of course.

I literally could not pick the DAL/KC game because I've used both.

BTW, there is a rumor that one of the two no pick guys is dead.

Only 13 fell from the Lions losing, partially because people are holding them for Christmas.

As I remember it Druff was never the big NFL guy. That he has ciphered out the puzzle impresses me. Very Druff. He’s now our football guru at PFA.

Perhaps he’s been a bit wind assisted by a public season.

I just can’t NFL anymore. The Green Bay late timeout today was so very NFL. Brings back memories

I’m 4-0 since the Lions game and still slightly down. When the legend stacks you, it takes awhile to claw back up.

it was over for us before it even began.

we have repeatedly asked him to post his plays ahead of time.

    a lack of common decency.

Supposedly one guy died and the other ran out of valid teams.

A cinci win would be interesting in its own right but it really makes tomorrow nights game very very very very interesting. You would be down to 59 entries. Thats $317K of equity per pick

It’s 49 entries, making each worth $381k if all 4 dogs win.

Cincy was up 19-7 but a quick answer TD makes it 19-14.

Really hoping to see an L here for Balt and a W for Eagles tomorrow.
