Even attempts to infiltrate Chinese media have failed.

For that reason the ruling elite have decided to try to prevent China from becoming the world's sole superpower.
The US Govt and corporations will be used for this mission. The costs to America are of no consequence what so ever.

my quick take on china is that they have grifted/stolen from the entire world, mostly us of course, and invested all of that into their infrastructure. so they live in a futuristic paradise world funded largely by IP theft and reverse-IPO scams.

and because the US is a 'law and order' state with transparency and oversight (or used to be, you know, comparatively), we were perm victims but it wasnt a big deal because we also exported culture and were the global reserve currency.

that was the big tradeoff. we didnt need to be a manufacturing hub, we didnt need to have every person who travels abroad swear allegiance to the US military above all else. we didnt need to be china.

somehow, someone got in trumps ear and told him half the story. so now, we get to give up all those fucking advantages so we can have a bunch of fentanyl addicted maga retards show up to work 12 hour shifts in chip plants despite the fact that musk himself couldnt get a single good days work out of anyone willing to work for him at his solar plant in buffalo.

    its all so tiresome.

Xi holds the golden share, 1% ownership. So he has the final say on whether the sale goes thru or not. Xi owns 1% golden share in every Chinese company doing business in the world....and 1% golden share in every American owned company in China. Xi can negate any and all business decisions made by these companies. And he can dictate decisions to all these companies.

Xi rules the communist and libtard roosts.

    All hail Xi!

The news bites say China has appointed a new trade negotiator. What the libtard articles don't tell you is that their old trade negotiator was an MF'er, well known as a hard ass, in the trade negotiations in Trump's first term.

They brought in a softer trade negotiator. Trump wins again.

PPP mention crops up increasingly as a thought exercise. Let’s see.

As I keep saying, would have been a great fight in 1978. This tariffs thing, there was a time for it. Just way way too late. Preventative medicine beats the shit out of chemo and addiction medicine.

    Union Sundown
Song by Bob Dylan ‧ 1983

Well, my shoes, they come from Singapore
    My flashlight's from Taiwan
    My tablecloth's from Malaysia
My belt buckle's from the Amazon
You know, this shirt I wear comes from the Philippines
And the car I drive is a Chevrolet
It was put together down in Argentina
By a guy making thirty cents a day
Well, it's sundown on the union
And what's made in the USA
    Sure was a good idea
'Til greed got in the way

Well, this silk dress is from Hong Kong
And the pearls are from Japan
Well, the dog collar's from India
And the flower pot's from Pakistan
All the furniture it said 'Made in Brazil'
Where a woman, she slaved for sure
Bringing home thirty cents a day to a family of twelve
You know, that's a lot of money to her

Well, it's sundown on the union
And what's made in the USA
    Sure was a good idea
'Til greed got in the way

Well, you know lots of people are complaining that there is no work
I say, "Why you say that for
When nothing you got is US made?"
They don't make nothing here no more
You know, capitalism is above the law
I say, "It don't count 'less it sells"
When it costs too much to build it at home
You just build it cheaper someplace else
Well, it's sundown on the union
And what's made in the USA
    Sure was a good idea
'Til greed got in the way

Well, the job that you used to have
They gave it to somebody down in El Salvador
The unions are big business, friend
And they're going out like a dinosaur
But they used to grow food in Kansas
Now they grow it on the moon and eat it raw
I can see the day coming when even your home garden
Is gonna be against the law
Well, it's sundown on the union
And what's made in the USA
    Sure was a good idea
'Til greed got in the way

    Democracy don't rule the world
You better get that in your head
This world is ruled by violence
But I guess that's better left unsaid
From Broadway to the Milky Way
That's a lot of territory indeed
And a man's gonna do what he has to do
When he's got a hungry mouth to feed
Well, it' sundown on the union
And what's made in the USA
    Sure was a good idea
'Til greed got in the way

He believes that excessive regulations have pushed financial activities into private markets and hindered the banking industry's ability to operate efficiently.
If Fed promises to redeem treasuries at full face value even if redeemed early then banks can go nuts holding Treasuries and that can be a form of QE. They can play the role of buyers when no one else is interested. Let’s change the bank regs Dimon is saying.

Or the Fed can just skip the games and do QE themselves without the charade.

Contrary to Mickey’s theory that the 90 day tariff pause was all part of the long strategy to bully then Art of the Deal. Rather it was the White House soiling themselves over bond yields rising sharply. (I refer you to the “Seven Leg Parlay”).

If we can get another leg down in stocks and/or bonds that would be the trigger I need to long my ass off if that happens. Watch TLT

Hello QE my old friend. I’ve come to talk with you again.

Putting a hit on Jerome Powell is amateur economists looking for a scapegoat instead of honoring the markets’ feedback.

    Profit from the mayhem

What I always bear in mind is that the Chinese are culturally and mentally built different than us. We don’t wanna give up DoorDash or Netflix else stimi. The Chinese were living in sod huts with no electricity and an outhouse a generation ago. Their capacity or notion of hard times and “can do” is nothing like ours.

War, economic or otherwise, is not seen as problematic

My Dylan game is really weak. “A Complete Unknown” makes me want to be a better man in this regard.

I never even heard this title before.

    I’ll check it out

That Bill Burr bit was amazing. Bill Burr for president. Lewfather actually put me on him. This is similar to me not knowing Dylan catalog I guess.

I just thought they gave out Bill Burr mixtapes at the gas station in Massachusetts?

I know you know better, but I feel like I have heard commentary lately like it’s a NAFTA thing or whatever. That certainly didn’t help, but half my neighborhood got wiped out over steel in 1977. Like our neighborhood 10 on 10 football games got cut in half overnight and kids parents were getting divorced. The problem was well earlier than the publics consciousness about it. That he wrote it in 83 is why I shared it in addition to it being topical. It was that prevalent already then. Even people old enough to know better have poor memories.

A few of my favorite Bill clips. Also the infamous Philly rant.
