As much as I think mike is the biggest loser on the planet why take shots at China? The guy helped China out, and hes returning the favor. Lets just say Mike is very knowledgeable about nutrition that just proves what a failure of lifeform he is because instead of taking responsibility for what hes done hes busy searching the internet to learn about fitness.Desperate for what? do you think the fitness show will somehow turn in to a revenue stream?
Were not desperate at all, this is China's project, he can make a pilot episode with Mike, I don't care, same goes for anyone... If the show is terrible I will have to go down that road with China and Drexel, but I haven't heard it yet... I am predicting fail, but it has nothing at all to do with me, I handle my projects and shows, Mark handles his, there wasn't really any discussion about 408 other than me being asked if I would ban him from the forum and I said no... for the most part Vegas makes those decisions.
China can do whatever he wants, doesn't mean its a sign of desperation, just means he thinks its a good idea.

1.Theres alot of science thats pointing to metabolic typing what are your thoughts on this?
2. What should we look for in a multivitamin? and what should we avoid?
3. I'm a huge believer in taking medicinal mushroom extracts like Shitake, Maitake, Cordyceps, Lions Mane, Reisha for cancer and overall Illness prevention. What are your thoughts on these?
4. Thoughts on eating meat? Theres alot of evidence that it causes Cancer among other things.

That I actually owe him money is a matter of personal principal, there is literally nothing owed if we both do not agree that there is, and I agreed to pay him. Big difference between our situation and what is typical in a "money owed" kind of situation.
The money he wanted I planned to escrow to Druff and then Vegas asked I donate to the humane society. Not having a credit card at the time and also not being able to get around easily with no car and a bad ankle I asked my folks to help out and my stepdad agreed. He paid the humane society I gave him cash and we all went out for breakfast. I asked for a receipt and last I heard my stepdad was dodgey because he is mortally terrified of anyone ever getting any of his personal information, meaning he won't email shit. Said he would give me a printed copy and the last time we could have met was Thanksgiving, which was an epic disaster I don't want to talk about. Suffice to say at some point I will get confirmation of some kind the money was paid and I have kept Vegas in the loop on that. If you ever get a chance to spend 20 minutes talking to my parents, it will be very clear to you why I'm having such a difficult time. They are still living with friends and have not found a home to buy yet, so basically 24/7 that is all they think about or talk about, and ANYTHING ELSE ANYTHING ELSE I bring up is "OH WHEN WE HAVE THE TIME! WE DON'T HAVE THE TIME! I SPENT ALL DAYYYYYY LONG LOOKING FOR HOUSES TO BUY!" is all I hear, and yes my mother spends roughly 6 hours a day on the computer facebooking friends 2 hours a day showering and at least 3 hours a day watching dancing with the stars and glee and 20 minutes actually looking for a house.
When I have the disposable income to do so I will pay the $50 again so that everything is right. After I get paid for the engine work seems likely, but you have to understand, given that I am homeless and sleep on the living room floor of someone else's home, paying a guy from the internet I have never met in my life money because he folded a napkin successfully ranks lower than food expenses, travel by mass transit expense, buying tools needed for jobs etc etc the list goes on. If someone follows his advice and gets hurt then they get hurt. Just like if someone follows my poker advice and goes broke thats the chance they take. But Mike has helped many people I know with regards to eating and exercizing so I dont think this will be a problem

That's not the way it works. When you advertise someone as an "expert" on anything, it is not unreasonable to assume his advice may be followed. It better be expert advice or be prepared for the consequences. Poker and weight loss are not comparable. Giving someone poker advice is not the same as giving someone health advice. In mike's vids and when he was on radio before, he certainly came across a lot more normal and interesting than in his forum posts.
I won't be surprised if 408 does a good show, just as I won't be surprised when he puts out 1,000+ word posts of nonsense and vocab lessons. Forum mike is unlikeable and impenetrable. Radio mike might very well be the opposite.
I guess you didnt hear the recent one with Druff. The guy takes no responsiblity for anything thats ever happened to him. If he misses the bus it wouldnt be because he should have left a few mins earlier it would be because the bus driver was ahead of schedule. I am not sold on this idea. I also don't feel like the program fits with the direction that VPR is going.
