In reality, Cookie Monster was an older guy from the east coast whom I had never met nor spoken to on the phone, and simply saw the Gofundme as shady like I did.
Despite not being a pro player, and despite not having any previous large WSOP cashes, Cookie Monster won the inaugural $5k WSOP Seniors event tonight, earning $573k. His real name is Mark Checkwicz.
Glad to see it. He's a nice, reasonable guy, and tried to approach the entire Jami situation calmly and fairly (yet repeatedly got attacked anyway). As I mentioned, at one point it was stated by Jami (and repeated by her idiot simps) that Cookie Monster was a mindless stooge I was directing to harass her. Good times.

Cookie is an awesome dude play with him all the time hes a reg at MGM Springfield. Plays 1/2 and 2/5. Crazy as fuck and will play any 2 give anybody action and hilarious banter and trash talking that will leave you in tears. Type a guy who will beat you with 2 3 off in a $600 pot and you will be laughing your ass off about it. I think he even self banned himself not long ago after he won a monthly promotion for the most hours played that month, told me it was a fucked up promotion that promoted obsessive gambling and he needed a break from it. So haven't seen him around as much lately. I believe his adult kid has Down's which of course is much worse than autism. He does tweet a lot about taking care of his son and the progress he sees him making. Wouldn't surprise me if all the gambling and table trash talk is a way to blow off steam from the difficulty of taking care of a special needs kid, especially one you know will always need help.
Not sure if any of you watched the final table, but Cookie was mostly running it over by taking advantage of the fellow old people being scared to mix it up with mediocre hands. So he was doing shit like raising 54o under the gun. It mostly worked for him. Sometimes he got himself in hot water (for example, he lost chips when his 54o was called by AJ, and an ace flopped), but this strategy basically got him the win.
Weird how a bad few minutes can define perception. Just watching that clip, I’d be fucking with that dude the entire time I played with him and calling him a fag and instigating him for being a douchebag bully to that other guy after watching that. Not a good look.
