Take the popov's, or whatever cheapest kind of vodka you get, and run it through a Brita filer 3-4 times. Test the filtered against the regular.

Also of interest, nicer vodka's use better water, there is a vodka from texas I need to get and add to the list, Dripping Springs or something I think (need to google, basically a friend who recently passed in his sleep at 35 used to swear by it, he lived near Austin RIP) which used spring water and was supposedly heavenly.

This is actually going to be pretty cool IMO, it's certainly developing nicely. Better camera in the works as well.

The mold was from either shipping or keeping them in a warm moist area (the bag i shipped them in). I'll send you a few more fresh from the plant tomorrow if I run past the post office.

And you plant the seed mike...although these were grown in the open next to each other so there is a good chance there was cross pollination. So you might think you are planting a butch t and it come out looking nothing like a butch t.

I'm pretty sure you just need carbon to filter water.

Alcohol (ethyl) has a lower boiling point that water. It will turn to gas before the water does.

thx for the 411, I have no desire to plant any of these things but the pepper guys def will. all of their crops have numbers and code for names, they consider themselves very sophisticated and apparently your butch t's are several notches above what they can grow.

also they are into making pepper jelly, ice cream, butter etc, so maybe some recipes will trade hands up to you all.

I am doneskies right now, my anus just barely stopped burning like hot fire, I cannot eat anything hot at the moment.

gotta admit, that was freaking TOUGH to get through.
