The only consolation for Romney voters will be witnessing what happens in the next four years and beyond. That at best is a Pyrrhic victory.
Of course to any reasonable person it is mind boggling that a nation with a failing economy and weak foreign policy would re-elect the clueless moron who wrote the blueprint for the destruction of America.
But that is precisely what has happened.
I will be fine. I have a safe home and plenty of guns.
I enjoyed America when she was a great country. You will never see that.
The virus of socialism traveled west from the old Soviet Union, infected and destroyed Greece, et al and now threatens all of western Europe. Yet, Americans chose the virus.
You reap what you sow (vote).
I can outlast the destruction of the United States. The young clueless idiots who voted for Obama cannot.
Troll, argue and slur all you want. I will still sit back and sip my wine. You will end up fighting for your next meal. It will be that bad.
Doubt me? Just watch what happens as you try to live your life.
On a side note did anyone see how hard Karl Rove tilted when Fox news called Ohio for Obama before he thought it should've been?
Am I reading this right? THE NORTH DAKOTA SENATE SEAT, ONE THAT EVEN NATE SILVER HAD SOLID REPUBLICAN WENT DEMOCRAT??
How does the GOP blame minority vote on this one.
Wake up GOP.
Purge yourselves of Todd Akin and Richard Murdoch types. It has cost, what 6 senate seats and a presiden, tial election?
Thats literally how the Dem's win. The GOP scares women into 60-40, then add people with advanced degrees gp over 80-20 now. Quit frightening women and scientists, GOP.
Literally the GOP would have us not believe the "liberal media's" lies about everything from polls to climate change. Not that the media is not biased, but when it comes to numbers and raw data, STFU. You can't get poll numbers to get born again.
yeah, and i laughed at him...but Fox News was sniffing well before Rove did his hold-out bit...for example Fox News was playing up Romney's then lead in the nationwide popular vote (before the Pacific Coast votes came in) and mentioning rumors of ballot fraud in Cinncinati...for the network of the political party for older whilte men, the coverage sounded like little girls snipeing--Rove fit right in
I don't know if it cost a Presidential election because Romney isn't exactly a Tea Party type.
You are right about the Senate seats. I mentioned this earlier.
While everyone in the party was celebrating the Republican victories of 2010, I was sitting there pissed off, because they tossed away 3 Senate seats.
Now, two years later, they have again tossed away three Senate seats -- including the frustrating Lugar situation where they already had a popular candidate who would have won, but they beat him in the primary.
Throwing away six Senate seats in two elections is horrible, and the party needs to get their act together and focus on what they need to do to win, not just go for the most conservative candidate and hope everything will turn out fine.
Democat Shelly Berkley just lost against Rick Heller for US Senate in Nevada.
I'm glad to see this.
When Berkley was in Congress, I contacted her office to get tickets to see the House and Senate when I was visiting DC in 2010.
Her office ignored me, and when I finally reached someone, I was given a bullshit story that there was no availability.
I was getting the vibe that they were full of shit, as the person I spoke to was acting annoyed with me from the start.
Sure enough, my girlfriend contacted her Congressman (a Republican, btw) in CA, and his office easily issued tickets -- and on shorter notice.
In general I have found Berkley to be arrogant and unlikable, so I'm glad she got greedy, tried to go for Senate, and lost.

2am on the West Coast and its turned out almost exactly like Nate Silver's 538 blog predicted---only Florida not called and the prediction was razor thin victory to Obama (50.3% chance, closest race of all the states)
in 2008 Silver's prediction called 49 states right
pretty good i'd say
Going to give Romney credit. What was a huge Obama landslide turned into a competitive race. That first debate was something that was Reaganesque. Tough to beat an incumbent, even John Kerry figured that out. Guy did the best he could.
Nothing has changed. In fact the Democrats are weaker.
Everything is set up for the next conservative pioneer. The poor will get poorer and the rich will get richer. I have almost a 1/4 mill in the bank so I really don't give a shit.
I was in a hotel last week and left $3 for the maid. I also over-tip when I eat out and I was at a Fridays the other day. A couple was next to me and they got their check and they actually used the calculator on their phone to figure out the 15% tip. You want to know how I roll? When I get a $31 tab I peel off two Andy Jacksons and walk out.
Obama recently signed an executive order effectively killing the work rule which is the guts of Clinton's welfare reform law, that was wildly successful, if a state chooses to loosen the work rule, dumbass. It was supposed to be an air tight law, now that obama has been reelected the e.o. will end up in the courts
enjoy paying higher taxes, dumbass.

minority vote killed romney. the exit polls i've looked at show only 35% of white men voted for obama and only 44% white women. 96% black women voted for obama, 87% black men, and so on. the minorities ran this election.
