This is exactly how I pictured it in my mind’s eye.
I had me some analytics regarding baseball and young fans. We’ve all heard the narrative. Too long too slow
An old guy wants a good seat in a consistent location. The ADD generation doesn’t want to sit in the same seat no matter how good it may be. They want to move and socialize.
The kids want more of a club experience. Lotta parks building upper deck experiences. More bar and restaurant venues .
Kids want to be able to come to the park without a seat. They will hang out. Maybe they even notice there is a game. Probably over time they will fall in love with it.
Kind of reminds me of minor league parks. Always some playground for the kids. Effort is made to provide other activities during the game. Offer adult playgrounds.
This is more of an urban scenario. Boston, Cleveland, NY etc. Some IT coder gets out of work and meets his friends at the park after work for something different on a summer day.
Nobody is driving 3 hours to the site of a former ghetto for a good time. I mean not without their gun.
