Like I said, I am no expert, but it seems like some aren't understanding the distinction between private contractors, gov't agencies, and active duty military special forces members. I would be shocked to see the latter used in this capacity. I know we have ex-military guys here who can probably straighten it out, and it's possible I'm wrong, but it would surprise me.
same point. if they are in uniform at a public gathering they are there for appearance. They are not the actual elite members deployed to deal with a threat.
