In college, I found out a roommate of mine was at one of the same classic Patriot games I was at a few years before. Pats were down 20 to the Vikings at the half, Drew Bledsoe threw like 70 times, played like the fucking boss he was until the years of getting brutally battered killed his spirit and fearlessness, crazy comeback win in the second half way before points started growing on trees in Foxboro.

My roommate and his girlfriend had left at halftime. I laughed so hard when he told me, and brought it up in front of other people for years when he needed to be needled a bit.

I also know he never stopped leaving games early.

I believe you, Tony, but I also warn you against becoming complacent in your event exiting strategies. It's easy to leave early. Stay strong.

Talk about owning faces the Green Bay football Packers destroyed who I thought was the best team in football. After losing Cedric Benson and with Jennings out, and without half of the defensive starters they crushed the Texans. Atl is a fake they arent a super bowl team.

BTW Tony Jr. pretty much agrees with azzclown and is still giving me shit about leaving. He's nicer about it, but gobsmacked nonetheless. It wasn't his game so he wasn't there.

I've talked about how cool it was to leave a loser only to gain redemption, and my main point was that all I care about as it relates to the Hawks is that they win, period. I was so happy about the win I didn't even really stop to consider what I had missed, and I still don't have huge regrets.

But make no mistake about it, if I could do it over again I obv would have stayed, and we will be more judicious in our escapes henceforth. We got a little cute on Monday and it cost us.
