Thank you - I was happy to be on radio again and I miss it - the interview was sort of foisted on me and I always want to give the listeners what they are clamoring for, but in truth, I would have rather just had a long bullshit session with Druff.
As to my "strong statement"... I'm not making that statement in any definitive way. I'm simply musing. I think there are a lot of variables - too many to draw the conclusion that Bad Guy's dearth of love or irresponsible approach to the relationship "pulled the trigger." For one thing, no man can prevent a suicidal woman from eventually killing herself - if she truly is messed up enough to want to die, even an attentive, loving, marrying type won't provide a "cure." We just don't know enough about the girl to understand the depths of her pain or the reasons for her decision. And truly, we don't know enough about the relationship over the two years he was with her to conclude that it was Bad Guy's behavior that eventually pushed her over the edge. It's all conjecture at this point.
