We had this debate many times on NWP/DD. I think it's safe to say that after this past weekend we can put it to rest. Add most playoff games ever won by a QB to Brady's already stellar resume', surpassing the great Joe Montana. Tom Brady will go down as the best QB to ever play the game. Manning, while awesome, rarely gets it done when January rolls around, and that my friends is what matters most.

The interception in 2nd OT was inexcusable. But there was plenty of fail to go around for Denver, how do you let Flacco score 38 on you and let the receiver get behind the secondary when they need 80 yards in 30 seconds. All this clutch stuff is a joke. Brady was clutch when he was younger, but once he got older he decided to stop being less clutch? There is way to small of a sample size to be able to determine if any quarterback is clutch or not. Some guys run good in the playoffs, and some guys run awful. I think being able to get your team to the playoffs is a sign of a great quarterback. Too much variance in the playoffs to decide if somebody is a great quarterback or not based on those few games. Peyton and Brady are both all time greats imo. Who I'd take in their prime? Probably Peyton but its close

While I can't really argue with your stats, it isn't like Brady got blown out in his SB losses. Brady really hasn't changed, his luck has. Early on he got the Tuck Rule call. He caught lots of breaks. Later on, he was unlucky. The Tyree catch. If Welker makes that catch in the 2nd NY SB. If Tyree drops his ball, and Welker catches his, Brady has 5 SB's. The simple fact that he is consistently in those situations to begin with shows how great he is. A play here or a bounce there shouldn't affect his status. Bottom line is the guy has been to 5 SB's, and was a threat to do so every year.

What about regular season record? They have to play those games too and they count. The regular season record has been great after spygate. The problem has been closing out super bowls and the defense has been inconsistent in stretches

7-7 record I believe is the playoff record since the last super bowl win but still 2 last second super bowl losses and 2 MVPS in that time frame.

But as far as stealing signals etc. I'm sure it helped N.E. and I'd be willing to take a very educated guess that Bill was probably the best at it. But I also think other coaches and teams did the same thing.

Spygate- nothing was ever proven about them taping the walk through. No tape was ever found and Goodell and "The New" NFL regime investigated that and found nothing. Could there have been more? Sure but they found nothing
