Don't know about Pollock and Seager but I agree with most of the rest. They've still gotta be by far the most likely to win the NL West. In the playoffs, yes, I'd like to see a big piece added (Cole or Strasburg would have been great), but it's not like they're dead without it.
I do hope Seager bounces back because he's Benjamin's favorite player, and I even bought him a Seager bobblehead recently for Hanukkah. Right after I bought it, trade rumors started swirling, but it's looking more likely Seager will stay, given Lindor's new home.
I do wonder if Roberts is even making his own decisions, or whether he's getting communication from above. There has long been suspicion that he's mostly a puppet for the front office. can the jays get 1 year of low 3' era, being a top 10/15 sp in the al and 30 starts?....or will ryu immediately pitch to a 3.5-4 era?..the latter seems realistic, factoring in age and the league change. plus, being overweight and at his age you can't rule out 3/4/5 starter numbers from the onset of the contract....
...there really should not this muck risk with an 80mil contract.
