Kamala isn't viewed as black enough by the vast majority of those who that decision would actually affect. She herself is actually a liability among black voters. If you can not clearly see the coordinated campaign that started 10 seconds after the debate ended you are blind. They have laid the foundation, if Biden's situation gets worse something drastic will happen.
LOL, how many black voters do you know? It's a rhetorical question. Kamala is a rock star with the abortionists, progressive left, BLM and anything left of center. She has a deep following with 80% of the Democratic party.
There is no coordinated campaign to move against Biden, they (whoever 'they' is) absolutely cannot remove a sitting President of their own party. So that is out, he has nearly 1400 out of 1400 pledged delegates, no nobody is going to make a move on a sitting President of their own party based on a terrible debate.
Now, Biden can quit, sure. But then he will be remembered as the guy who got knocked out by Trump and he would never allow that on his legacy, and obviously his wife would never allow it. She after all is in on every White House decision, and she is drunk on power.
In the rare event Biden does step down, if they don't anoint the first black female VP, she almost certainly would quit the ticket and the party would be forever fractured. She was duly elected like Biden and to kick her to the side and put in someone white would be a catastrophe for the Democratic party.
You are conflating primaries with a general election. Primaries are dirty business, look at John McCain. War hero, Senator, blah blah blah. The Bush campaign the week before the SC primary in 2000 sent out thousands of mailers he fathered a black kid. But when you get to the general, its all about unity and that is not changing based on one Biden debate.
If Biden quits it's going to Harris. Now I hope your theory is right and a group of 5 people kick Biden and Harris to the curb because Trump would win by 10 points and the Dems would be fractured for a decade. But I think that is a 1% chance, and no you are not the smartest man in the room. Biden is smart politically and especially his wife. They know in a couple weeks this will be forgotten and the whole focus will be on Trump, his sentencing and the Republican convention. Like the Access Hollywood tape in 2016 when Republicans were hyperventilating Trump needed to quit, it passed on the next news cycle.
