If they replace him, it would have to be Kamala Harris. What, are you going do parachute a white guy in over the first black female VP in history, of the Democratic party? Never happen. Dems will bank on this will blow over and hope Biden will give an acceptable performance at the Convention. But bringing in Gavin Newsome, not only would that not happen, if he lost his career would be destroyed as the guy that muscled out the first female black VP.
