NOTE: I don't cap or do any analytics shit, just watch all the games so take this with a grain of salt...



so here is nova's end of the season schedule:
2/14 @ PROV
2/17 @ X
2/21 v DEPAUL
2/24 @ CREI
2/28 @ HALL

that's about as hard as it gets...I bolded the games to focus on...I could even bold the PROV game because they are tough at the dunk, but just want to concentrate on those 3 games...I fully expect nova to go 2-1 or 1-2 in those games...if nova wins any game I can see it being the game against X...was shocked that nova plastered them as bad as they did in philly...but I fully expect that in cincy that they are gonna bully ball the fuck outta the game and ugly it up...the HALL game will be the same way...that squad is old school big east...tough and rugged...they have 3 seniors who are really fucking good college players and they are gonna want to stick it right up novas ass...the only concern I have with them is that they cant shoot FTs for shit (67% as a team)...the CREI game is not gonna be anything close to a knock out drag out fight...there will be fireworks in Omaha and they do not fucking lose at home...

looking to only take the home teams if they are dogs...if nova is a dog I have no interest in either side...im hoping that nova will be "overvalued" by vegas by time we get to those games...unfortunately I don't see nova getting to that point in the schedule with just the one loss that they have now...

again don't go nuts on any of this shit...if you want to bet a lunch on the spread and sprinkle a little on the money line it's probably the best way to go...again only fire if the home teams are dogs...and if there's anybody who caps this shit and wildly disagrees with me then by all means disregard this post...ive been watching nova/big east forever and know that that is just a fucking brutal stretch of games...

I told Brandon a few days ago, "I think I'm done taking Portland unders."

So of course here's what I'm taking today:

Portland Under 213
Portland -4

Cavs are so bad that they blew a massive lead and only won by a single point.

To be honest, Orlando +11 was the third pick I had selected, but I threw it away because Orlando is so awful, they were missing Afflalo due to suspension, and the Cavs were at home. As bad as the Cavs have been, I though they would probably punish this awful opponent, so I second-guessed my stats and ignored the pick.

And they did punish Orlando. Until they collapsed and almost blew the game.

Boy I wish I could go back a few weeks and bet Raptors +1600 to win east, which you guys remember I discussed out here.

Even Lebron isn't confident Cavs will win this year.

I'm seriously laying off Portland if I lose both of these tonight.

They're becoming my new Cleveland.

Certain teams I just seem to be struggling with handicapping this year.

So far not off to the greatest start, but it's early.

Well, I did two things I hate doing today:

- I bet against the Raptors, who seem to frequently show up when you don't expect them to.

- I bet on the Nets, who constantly disappoint and suck balls.

The Nets bet I don't regret, because there were many good reasons for it.

The Spurs +6 I kinda regret, because I was on the fence about it, and now I wish I hadn't.

Both still have a chance to win, so maybe I should save this regret until the game is over, but I just wanted to vent.

Spurs under was gold, though. You can easily lock and ship that one at this point.

I don't want to jinx you but I tailed you for the first time today.

Finally caught a break.

Spurs were down 86-80 with 9 seconds left and Toronto had the ball. Was an obvious foul-and-shoot-2 situation, which would have put them back 8.

Instead, Raptors made a stupid offensive foul on the inbound, Toronto got the ball back, then hit a 3. Then Spurs fouled again, and Toronto missed both free throws!!

Down 3, Spurs attempted to make a final 3 with 4.6 seconds left, but they flubbed the play and bricked a desperation shot badly.

Final score 86-83, and my precarious +6 side wins.

Under crushed by 37 points, and was mostly a done deal by the mid-2nd (!!)

Sac under is also crushing right now.

Notice how my unders have been repeatedly winning by huge margins this week? That means I'm back, friends.

Brooklyn has also stormed back from 14 down and is up 79-77, so they are likely the only question mark in what can be a 4-0 day.

Let's hope.
