So I just logged on and saw this thread at the top of the board with 9 pages already. So, curious but also cautious, I decided instead of investing any time reading what is most likely an abortion of a thread I just clicked on a random page to see if I could get a feel for what direction this had taken. This was the first and only post I read, I believe on page 5, and I'm fairly certain I don't need to go any further.

I knew there would be an angry Marty tilt post in response to what I had to say.

My parents' only "breast feeding" was putting me through PUBLIC college and paying for my cheap apartment and $1000 car. I'm not complaining here. I chose which college I wanted to go to, and I also chose to have a cheap car and cheap apartment, because I didn't feel right spending their money on more than what was necessary.

As soon as I got a job (age 23), I supported myself, and that has been the case for 20 years.

Bottom line is that you keep falling back on Mommy and Daddy when things don't work out, and that's why you can live your childish, irresponsible lifestyle. Most adults are stuck dealing with the consequences of their financial failures, but your parents keep bailing you out.

I'm not saying that they are always supporting you. You go through periods of time when you take care of yourself, but it always seems to end back up in the same place.
