Added spinach to the mix, cut back the lemon and ginger and this shit is on point!
So what is the purpose of juicing every meal. Shed a few pounds shocking your body? When do you start sustainable lifestyle changes that still allow you to eat a slice of pizza if that is what's available.
Juice fills me up. Detoxed my body and I lost weight. My buddy who did this told me after a 10 day cleanse the fat melted off. As far as eating pizza it really depends on the diet you put yourself on.
That said I'm 50% through. Going to celebrate tonight with some baked fish and greens and then 5 more days of juicing, maybe more!
Went to 99 for dinner, was mulling over the baked haddock/ grilled chicken and I decided on a Ny Sirloin strip! Side of broccoli and a baked potato with no butter and a diet coke and it was fucking delicious!
So the 10 days of only juice didn't work out as planned but I did make it 5 days of only juice which was tough for me to do. First time in my life I have given up everything (even healthy stuff for 5 days)
I have 5 days left on my original plan of 10 days of juice only and will probably switch things up a bit over the remainder of the 5 days. I will probably do juices 2 times a day and have one meal of breakfast or dinner with high protein low carb etc....
More than likely 408 is right , the high protein/low carb/ lowfat diet I have had tremendous success on in the past when I stuck with it is where I see the core of my diet being for life.
But I really think the juicing has changed my mindset on a lot of things and will ultimately help me tremendously in getting my diet back on point. Cutting out all of the shit I ate and cleansing my body has made me open my eyes again and realize how bad the shitty foods I was eating really were.
And will weigh in tomorrow obv and see how much weight goes back on because of this one meal. Not that it means anything long term, but I like to watch the scale and see how these things work

Anyhow, here is where I am @, I am sitting @ 359 from a peak of 372 so I have lost 14 lbs.
I quit coffee which I attribute mostly to juicing.
Saturday I had one juice and ate 2 other meals that were very healthy.
Sunday I did some damage but I am entitled to a cheat meal once per week. Had a healthy breakfast. Then had family over and we ordered pizza. I crushed 4 slices and that's actually good for me considering I am capable of eating 8 slices but I could tell my stomach had shrunk because when I got to 4 I was dead full.
But I didn't end the cheating after the pizza! Had 4 cookies last night and a chocalate chip muffin.
Woke up today and for breakfast I had 2 bagels with light cream cheese and then I decided to get back on point. I immediately got out the juicer and made a 32 oz juice which I have yet to drink today. For lunch I had baked haddock with brussel sprouts and some sweet mashed potatoes.
And now I have my juyice ready to go for my next meal as well as a bunch of pre-grilled chicken and salad stuff ready to go.
Goal for next Monday will be getting down to 350 and I plan to get there this week by juicing and eating a lot of high protein and low carbs
I also need to get back to the gym. I haven't been for a week but I am pleased with a 13 lbs loss overall

it will also help if you have protein and good fats every meal, as that takes longer to digest, which in turn kills your appetite

My wife and I actually started using a personal trainer at our gym and we are both losing weight and finding it easier to eat healthy because of it. It isnt cheap, but its the kick in the ass we needed.
I may actually try the juicing thing after seeing how well you are doing with it. Keep it up!
All diets boil down to this. Carbs in < Carbs out and stick to it. How many more diet books are going to be written and sold. The reason everyone wants a new diet is because they are weak minded and can't stick to the basics and are looking for any excuse besides the truth.

I have the nutri bullet.
Mine are pretty simple and heavy on the fruit side.
My goal is to get as much veggies w/out tasting shitty.
They have measures. so you put 50 % veggies and 50 % fruit and add water.
I stuff as much Kale or spinach as possible and be under 50 %, then a green apple or pineapple, 1 banana, and as many blueberries as will fit.
I can't use water, so pineapple juice. Its an ugly green, and I wouldn't enter it in a taste contest, but it goes down pretty easy.
Might not be as healthy as juicing, but I'm sure its better then my previous 2 options, doughnuts or eggs, (and everything that goes w/them)

Says the body is always hungry for nutrients, so if you eat shit, your body isn't getting those so it is still hungry,
I haven't been hungry in over a week filling up on nutrients.
I have a buddy who has competed in bbing shows (and very nearly won, he wasn't shabby at all) eating various junk food diets with success.

Today so far I had 3 eggs over easy with onions and 4 slices of wheat for meal 1
Meal 2 was a ron and reg veggie/juice drink
Meal 3 was a salad. One full cucumber skinned with half a tomato and about a handful of lettuce with some baked turkey and roasted chicken on it with light dressing
Grilling off about 6 thick chicken breasts for easy access and will be juicing more over the coming days. I have a shitload of produce I have to get through
I was more thinking about this compulsive liar I know who said she can never lose weight and eats nothing but salads and I caught her one time when she didn't see me and she was eating lettuce with a MOUND of roasted garlic chicken on it.

Mark I gotta ask, how hungry are you with your meal selections? Do you have cravings and what are they? Do you like sweets or more salty foods as cravings? Serious questions.
Right now I am not hungry at all. As long as eat when I get hungry which is 3 or 4 hrs after each meal I don't get "starving"
No cravings today and usually I don't get them. The only time I get cravings is when I don't eat when I am supposed to. Let's say I wake up and eat breakfast and don't eat for 7 hrs then I am more apt to go for something crappy like a roast beef sub if I am out and about.
If I have cravings it would be more for salty foods. I like sweet shit too but I could go years without eating anything sweet. I love peanut butter chocolate mixed. Candy ice cream etc. it is god but I don't crave it.
lost another lb, down 16 overall since I started this thread 5 weeks ago but the majority is over the last 2-3 weeks
