Time to get on the TRUMP train

Been rolling the polls around in my own mind lately.

My thoughts started with the declining Television numbers overall. This is polling too. PFA has talked about the declining NFL numbers.

I made a post about watching kids watch NFL. The fantasy kids fire up NFL Red Zone with their phone in hand. Are they watching any games from kickoff to post game?

Neilson has no way to measure this. Snail mail and land lines.

Television viewership really isn't declining. It's just different and can't be measured now. Bad polling numbers.

I have a kid who just bought a smart tv. It has sat in his room for a couple of weeks. I offered to add another cable box and he said he doesn't want it but thanks. True story. You know how he is viewing media. It doesn't involve Comcast. He is an example of those not measured

I know political polling is lagging in similar fashion to Neilson. Same issues with contacting people. Polls start with their understanding of the overall demographic. They have only so much money and time for a given poll. If they feel they have reached out to a disproportionate demographic like middle aged white males they will weight that number to conform to their overall view of the country's voters.

Then the fivethirtyeight type flawed intellectual attribution ramps up.

Again, I suspect polling will be proved flawed and wanting in this increasingly complicated new era. Much will be learned this election.

I am not saying Polls are completely wrong about Clinton. I suspect results amongst certain demographics are gonna shock the world. Then again, I will enjoy a Brexit like humbling of the polls and experts too

I think what tells the real story about the result of this election is in Hillary's own social media. She has practically no support on her own page. Compare this to Trump. Despite democrats have notoriously cheated on social media metrics (paying for Facebook likes, paid trolls, etc) they getting absolutely demolished on their own social media pages this time around. ALL internet metrics point MASSIVELY for Trump no matter how you dissect the data. The few Hillary supporters on her pages seem fake, or if real they have no real defense or intelligent stance for her. Only comments like "We are with you Madame Secretary!" Weak shit like that. If you go to her Facebook you will likely see comments in the ballpark of 50-1 anti Hillary and Pro-Trump. It's amazing! All this DESPITE their paid shills.

Hillary's campaign is sunk and the social media tells the story very clearly. Fuck the polls. It's well documented that they oversample Dems by a huge margin. Just look at the social media. She's getting eaten alive. She would have lost without the FBI re-opening the case but the damn is now about to break wide open and KimdotBOMB-Wikileaks may just add some more icing to this already delicious cake. Besides, not only does Trump have a highly motivated base which is growing each day, but Hillary lacks ANY enthusiasm. I've watched her rallies in which she needs to get Michele O, J-Lo, Jay-z all to TRY to generate some interest and all you see is 50-100 people with dull expressions on their faces despite the celebrity support. Her Live youTube streams (when she rarely has them) are filled with more Thumb down votes then up and less than 1600 viewers and the chat is all TRUMP Supporters so of that 1600 viewers I'd say at least 1000 are Trump. So she's drawing views in the hundreds. Think about that! Again, where are her supporters?? They don't exist. Compare this to Trump rallies, and the writing is on the wall. 35,000 views on one channel alone. Massive upvotes. 16,000 r/The_donald viewers ONLINE at one time on Reddit while other political forums have much less total engaged. Trump is a closer and America respects a guy with his relentless stamina and work ethic.

Hillary's base is either staying home and sleeping like her or switching sides on election day. There is no motivation to get behind a criminal. Even most dishonest liberals can't do this. Landslide for Trump.

That takes a lot less effort than showing up in person to a rally. Also it gives them the chance to rip into the Donald from the comfort of their own couch. My argument is not about the popularity of Trump. He clearly has a hard core following that are huge in number.

Trump had to become 'more Presidential', and like he said many months ago, "Believe me I can be more Presidential than any of them". LOL The guy backs it up. I believe he's effectively mixed in high quality speeches via teleprompter, hitting all the important points in an orderly fashion while mixing in some off the cuff remarks along the way but staying on point. After all he does have 4 of these to do a day now. He's learned on the job and done a masterful job at it in such a short amount of time. Even his detractors must be silently impressed. He's doing great in the human backwater states but thats always been his bread and butter. Where he has consistently failed is crafting a message that resonates with people who arent essentially abandoned by a rapidly evolving nation.

You know I don't WANT Hillary to win. I especially hate the idea of her becoming a beloved historical figure when we're all dead and gone, which is what will almost surely happen if she's elected President. That part alone disgusts me to no end. I want to see the first female President to be a good and honest person (regardless of party), so at least it's someone worthy of historical admiration. Hillary is not worthy of admiration of any kind, except perhaps the admiration of how relentless drive, shadiness, and hustle can get you places in life.

I admit that there is an outside chance that we will have another Brexit, and the polls will shock people. For example, I knew for certain that McCain was going to lose badly in 2008. He had zero shot.

This election is too weird and different from anything we've previously experienced, to the point where nothing will shock me.

With that said, I did look into holding my nose and betting on Hillary, but sadly those cold value-bettors on PredictIt pretty much have forced each state into the approximate odds I believe are correct, so there's not much value betting on her, especially after the site's crappy fees if you win.

I might see if I can get my finger on the pulse of certain swing states and make a little $ there, but that will probably involve betting on both candidates at some point, in different states.

I don't know maybe it's because I feel like grew up with Trump growing up in NYC seeing him in the news all the time since I was a kid and all the good he did for the city, yes an attention whore and NYC Playboy always in the news but mainly for positive things like revitalizing the city with the Grand Hyatt, the Wollman skating rink, Trump Tower etc, Taj Mahal.
